Check-in wasn’t pleasant, it took some time before she could check us in as she stated she cannot find my booking, it took another staff to tell her to check us in. The room was very large, old but clean, bed was comfy and the complimentary breaskfast was really nice. Asides from the check in, I enjoyed my stay

The place is good for rest on holidays. the room is spacious and clean.

First of all the room was suppose to have a double bed, but open staying there i found out they had combined 2 single beds together to create what appears as a double bed. My wife and I had terrible back ache because of this. And also there was stains on the carpets.

Checked in by very helpful and polite staff. The room was much bigger than I thought; it was spotlessly clean and bed was really comfortable. Hotel was by busy road, but there was no sound of traffic. The breakfast offered a really nice selection of cooked and vestals with choice of nondairy milks. I have stayed at a regular Holiday Inn and would say this Holiday Inn Express room was a lot bigger and more comfortable. I would most definitely recommend as a very relaxing and comfortable stay.

In a great transport link position, friendly staff, good size well equipped room, great breakfast and in a good location to walk to Villa Park for the football which was the reason for my visit.

Terrible serive by reception staff. Plus and lights broken in room. They couldn't change room as none was avilable. Terrible overall.

Was on 2nd floor. The corridor stank of weed all evening and throughout the night. Couldnt sleep as was such a strong smell coming into the bedroom. Reception didnt do anything nor offered to change our room. Hotel wasnt that busy.

Very nice Hotel car park security locked up at night out of stuff very helpful nice and quiet night to get a good night sleep

The room we stayed in was very nice and comfortable. The breakfast was okay - although the sausages had a very foul aftertaste that it was difficult to finish.

The hotel was clean, staff were friendly and offered support when needed, I was not familiar with the area.

This hotel is reasonable, it’s tired and dated, decor showing wear and tear. It’s on a busy road so noisy, even at night. Staff pleasant, breakfast average, parking free.

Hotel in poor condition. Not enough power sockets and none near mirror. Charging socket next to bed not working

Awesome staff at check in and at breakfast. the bed in room 116 was not the best

Excellent value for money - a fair taxi ride into the centre of Birmingham and can be expensive coming back after midnight. The best part of our stay were the helpful, friendly staff!

I arrived after a long work day and of travelling. I booked a room and paid in advance and when I arrived I was told there was no rooms available. I was confused as to what I paid for if there was no room. The manager was very rude and acted like I was an inconvenience. Then gave me a room and told me it’s over there go find it. And when I complained the next day a worker told me I was lying as the person was not there at the time I said even though I had evidence. I was disgusted with my experience.

Excellent stay. There was a stained pillowcase. This was change has soon as I mentioned it.. Great staff..
