One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Incredible value, and so easy to get to Padova and Venice. Very smart hotel lobby, great room with a balcony, and the thermal pools were so relaxing. The poolside bar is brilliant as well. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Fantastic.

A few minutes from the train station on the side away from the town. This renovated hotel offers renovated rooms, a good breakfast as well as reasonable dining, and good facilities for exercise. It is bear a park, but bring boots as it's without paths so you are literally walking through fields and woods. At check-in they upgraded us, but initially could not find the room key then told us the last guest took it. This meant the last guest could walk into our room as there are no security locks inside the room. The pools are smaller than many other hotels and the water did not seem to be the mineral water for which Montegrotto is famous. NOTE: the internet does not work. It was virtually impossible to get a connection and it constantly cut out. It was impossible to do any work while at the hotel. This is a deal breaker for travelers that need to do work. In sum, not a bad choice for a short stay in Montegrotto, for longer stays there are better options.

The most balanced, in terms of price-quality ratio, thermal hotel in Montegroto - Terme. (I can competently compare, I have been to almost all the hotels in the city, on this trip I stayed in 3 different ones). Very hospitable and cozy, a decent thermal spa area, in addition to thermal pools and a sauna, a public aromatherapy area and a hamam. I would like to separately note the high professionalism of the hotel staff, the girl in charge of the pools, generally amazes with her energy and responsibility, ideal order and cleanliness, water quality checks every hour, in all 3 pools.

This hotel is a 3 star at most - I was shocked when I saw the room - outdated, shabby little room with ONE ceiling light, making it look like a prison cell. The shower pressure was really bad so I reported it to the reception and neither he nor his colleague spoke English??? How can you work in a hotel without speaking English? The maintenance man came into my room to fix the shower, stepped on my shower floor mat in DIRTY shoes, spoke some incoherent Italian, threw his hands up, said "Prego" and left without a word. The hygiene conditions can also be questioned to be honest - I wish I'd have booked something else. I'm regretting picking this hotel.

Pro: - half board with rich breakfast and tasty dinner with multiple options - pool open until 23pm - good cocktails at the pool bar at reasonable prices (5€ and 8€) - hair dryer with diffuser (for curly hair is amazing) - robe, towel and slippers as a kit in the room - quiet rooms Cons - charging 3€ for water at dinner without specifying (saw at checkout) - slow elevators Recommendation - not very professional when the waitress was rolling her eyes after the interaction with some customers at dinner (blond lady boss with the bun, I’m looking at you), also looking angry and in a hurry all the time, not really smiling, making us not feel comfortable around her (the others were really nice, smiling and talking with us so thanks)
