We were greeted outside by a friendly welcoming member of staff with guidance on how to reach the hotel car parking. The room was basic but clean with plentiful of hot water. All staff were polite and helpful. Great stay

Nice hotel at a reasonable price.

The hotel is quite average. It needs renovation, espcially the carpets in the rooms. There was also a sewage smell in our room the whole time! On the upside, the hotel staff were nice and courteous. The breakfast buffet was also decent.

Very nicely located for this charming town. The room was, overall, ok. Not more. It could use better lighting. As is, it was quite gloomy after sundown. The work area was poorly lit.

This is a nice little hotel a quick walk to old town which I like because it’s a quieter area. Parking across the street was very convenient and the hotel gives a discounted rate. Staff was friendly and helpful. Only small issue was that our floor’s hallway had a not to pleasant odor….but it didn’t affect our room so not a huge deal. Elevators are tiny but that seems to be the norm in France.

This conveniently located and had everything you need including a kitchenette with balcony. Towels and pillows were great quality, only small gripe was the water pressure in the bathroom sink, although maybe this was an eco decision as showers had enough power. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location with affordable parking within walking distance from everything in Chambéry. Room was spacious and comfy.

This is a standard unfancy hotel that offers everything you need and is well located for visiting the city. We have stayed here several times and will do so again.

Loved the breakfast

The staff and hotel were excellent. The breakfast delicious although an added cost. Rooms clean wirh a small kitchen and microwave, but no detergant of washcloth to di dishes with and housekeeping didnt clean them either. Thiscwas the inly fault.

Nice and quiet area, very close to the center (few minutes by foot) and many choices for food. Room clean, essential but comfortable and also with a small kitchenette with fridge and stove. Happy to have chosen this place!

Hotel is a bit dated; however, I feel very comfortable there. Room is kept extremely clean. Looked forward to having breakfast there every day - many selections and great quality! What sets this hotel apart in my opinion, is their understanding and helpfulness when I requested a partial refund due to sudden change of hospital of a family member that I am caring for. Even though I booked a non-refundable rate, the hotel management was very understanding and processed a refund for my unused nights right away. They even went through the trouble of trying to contact hotels.com for me so I will receive my refund. Would definitely stay here if I return to Chambery!

Very late booking made on Hotel.com website following an accident en route to Alps. Lovely friendly guy on reception was extremely helpful and delighted by the room which was clean spacious and had a great little kitchenette area so I could make a hot drink. Very central.

value for money although carpets seem old cheap toilet seat and toilet paper

V comfortable, clean. Air con. Great breakfast. Mix up with parking (on-site booked, but directed to car park across from hotel) - not an issue. Easy to get and cheaper than on-site! Really enjoyed Chambery - would recommend Kyriad. Easy to access tourist sites.

This hotel is not as stylish as it appears in the photos. The decor is very dated although in reasonable condition. The lobby was more like that of a one or two star hotel. It wasn't an attractive place to be in. However, the breakfast was good and the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Nice location for the town, very convenient. Room was small but had a small kitchen area which would have been welcome for a longer stay. Parking was offsite and even with the map they gave us at reception was tricky to find. It would have been a thousand times easier with a screenshot from street view pointing it out. The underground car park itself was ok though with clearly marked spaces for hotel guests.
