Very nice and quiet hotel, directly in the centre of Hasselt. the restaurant is located on the first floor; they have an excellent breakfast, and for dinner, you can order from the menu, from fish &chips to steak. There is a garage which costs 15 euros per day.

Staying at De Groene Hendrickx was an absolute pleasure. The hotel exudes charm and character, with its historic architecture and modern amenities seamlessly blending together. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering a cozy retreat after a day of exploring Hasselt. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, ensuring a memorable and comfortable stay. Plus, the location is perfect, right in the heart of the city. Bad things: A so called family room facing a noisy street. From the windows instead of a terrasse, place to store the garbage of the hotel. In our view, this space shouldn't be a hotel room at all, especially not for families. An extra space with a two-floors bed where we could possibly hide from noise at night had no ventilation. Good things: beds, shower and breakfast were good, the space was clean.

Location of the hotel is perfect Service is good. One inconvenient, if you are not alone and you wanted to stay a little bit late no place to sit bar is closed and reception doesn't have tables
