VERY GOOD

Noisy, smelly, cold vent on all night, despite -4 that day. Reception did not answer phone when called to ask to turn off cold air. I now have a chest infection.Car damaged in car park.

This is a good hotel in a bit of a poor location. Rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is nice and the staff welcoming.

Hotel in great position in downtown Luton - handy for travel links to rail and bus station. Unfortunately for a hotel that many use to travel to airport there was no hot water in the early morning (4am) when many people were leaving for flights. And it took nearly two hours and several,reminderd to deliver the safety mat so it was possible to take a shower.

Excellent value with good breakfast included. Convenient for the station making it an ideal base for our visit to London.

Hotel is convenient for central Luton, a short walk from the central station. Room is OK, but was cold when I arrived. Warmed up when I put the radiator on. The room has an ironing board and iron, but only one pillow and no extra blanket.

Cramped room, there was baby cot in the room which we didn't request. There was not even space to move around in the room. Parking was 10 pounds extra. There was good breakfast though.

The room was clean and comfortable though bathroom a bit cramped. On returning late in the evening there were a couple of "ladies" hanging around the entrance obviously touting for business. The breakfast area is not very inviting and the hot food was just warm. Also there was no milk for the coffee machine and no cups available anyway.

I often stay here when I have an early flight from Luton. The hotel is attached to a shopping mall and is a 5 minute walk from the station. It's very convenient. Single rooms are a little small but the staff are excellent and the breakfast is very good for the price. The area is grim and there are some people staying at the hotel who are obviously being housed by the local council as emergency housing. But other than that it's an excellent hotel. I've stayed here many times

Great nights sleep, very comfy bed. Lovely staff and adequate breakfast for the price. Just the area that lets it down. Not very easy to find your way in, and the streets are poorly lit, meaning it doesn’t feel very safe at night or when it’s darker.

This was an EXCELLENT stay at unbelievable value. The hotel markets itself as a budget option so I was not expecting perfection but it has certainly got to be one of the best budget stays I've ever had. My room was enormous with a comfortable king-size bed. Free tea/coffee/hot choc, very helpful and reaposive staff, great shower, massive TV, and great location for my onward journey. I have no complaints really other than I checked in late at night which in that area can be a bit daunting but that's also beyond the hotel's control. I'd absolutely come back if I travel via Luton Airport again. Thank you!

Staff very unhelpful, breakfasts were cold. Would not recommend

I loved my cosy room and the hotel was really nice, but there was fighting and antisocial behaviour outside most of the night which disturbed my sleep and I didn’t leave my room as felt unsafe outside. Only downside in the room was the pillow, only one thin pillow given and no spare. Lovely products in the bathroom

My stay was good. There are challenges with persons smoking drugs outside the hotel.

Room 503 was a decent room but bathroom very small and very unpleasant odour of sewage/drains throughout the stay. We came back to the hotel on foot around midnight and it was obvious that some women outside the main hotel entrance were openly making themselves "available for hire". A bit disturbing and unsettling. The noise outside throughout the night made sleep difficult with groups of males and females congregating in the main public car park and screaming and shouting aggressively. I appreciate the hotel are not responsible for external disturbances but it is relevant to my review. The included buffet breakfast was very underwhelming. Limited range of very cold and unappetising English "hot" breakfast was available and very little bread other than budget sliced white or brown. No milk or cups available at the coffee stations which didn't matter anyway as no hot drinks available other than expresso. We had recently stayed at Thistle Heathrow which was much better all round. You should do much better Thistle Luton.

This stay was not very good. I have stayed here 3 times previously over the last month but this time I wasn’t happy. My room was freezing, you could see the table in the room hadn’t been cleaned properly and I was woken unnecessarily twice in the morning by housekeeping!
