Great accommodation had everything we needed

Really welcoming stay with great food in the pub

We love this place, but we love it for a reason, the food is amazing, the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great visit/stay and the rooms are a perfect place to crash after a few drinks. The pub also has a lovely warm atmosphere that is so welcoming and relaxing. For us it’s our perfect bolt hole to escape London.

Lovely full English to start the day

We are regulars visitors to the Black Horse Inn. But the reason we are is because it’s such a wonderful place to come. It’s a cosy pub with a warm chilled friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely and do their absolute best to make your visit perfect. The food is always amazing and is sourced locally with some great chef’s special dishes and the rooms are cosy, comfortable and good value. We will be back again very soon.

A lovely clean fresh room. The Pub is a beautiful quaint typical English pub with beams in the ceilings and hops hung up everywhere. The room (accessed by outside paths - but every room has an umbrella for use). Room has everything you need. Tea, coffee, biscuits, soaps, shampoo etc. We took our dog and the 'dog pack' is a wonderful idea with treats, poop bag towel and cover to protect bedding (if your dog is inclined to sleep on your bed). I would happily stay here again and recommend to my friends.

Really nice place. Ideal for channel tunnel, nice food clean rooms, accessible facilities and friendly staff.

My family and I booked rooms at the Blackhorse Inn this weekend as we were attending a wedding in the area. We had a pleasant stay at the Inn. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We had breakfast which was very nice, with a varied choice. Would recommend the Blackhorse Inn.

Great Country Pub/Inn with separate accommodation, excellent food and good value. Would book again.

Nice digs but the hot water was hit and miss. The tv was temperamental as well

This is an excellent pub. The service was exceptional, the food was very good and the ambience and atmosphere fantastic. This is a characterful old building with lots of books and crannies. Good beer too. The accommodation is good - a little like motel accommodation at the back of the pub in separate purpose-built buildings. It was comfortable and suited our needs well. Would definitely return.

This is a great property. More than just a hotel. Love everything about the place and the staff!!

The Black Horse Inn is a real find. An absolute gem. What a well oiled machine this hotel is. Linked to the pub, with amazing staff and food. We literally couldn’t fault one thing about the room, service, dinner or breakfast. We will be back!

Excellent accommodation, we stayed on route to Maidstone on motorcycles, before travelling to Folkestone/Europe! Great food and very welcoming!

Great place to stay

Gorgeous traditional pub with authentic touches. Excellent room, lovely stuff and very dog friendly. We stayed just for one night, on our way to channel crossing. Great rural location, but only a short distance from main routes. A real gem! We will be back soon.

This was a lovely base for us whilst visiting friends our only niggle was the service with food in the pub as we were forgotten at breakfast for so long we gave up waiting. They were very apologetic but was a sad end to an otherwise lovely stay.

Really friendly comfortable place to stay. Super room for a family, great as a place to stop on the way to the eurotunnel as an overnight stop.
