WARNING TERRIBLE DANGEROUS HOTEL! AVOID this hotel at all costs. This place should be closed down, it is either a brothel or a money laundering outfit. After making a reservation online I got no replies to my emails and number was appearing invalid so I feared it was a fake hotel. However after being reassured by the booking platform that is was still a legitimate property, we turned up - big mistake!! It operates under two different names, this one and Hotel Paradise Airport Inn. The location is hidden up a dark backstreet, not the one listed on Google maps so it was imposible to find and the staff were useless in helping us. Since we got a late flight we arrived after midnight and the area is very unpleasant. The lobby was occupied by a gang of adolescent boys, some of whom seemed to work there and spoke bad English. There were men loitering upstairs and it felt very unsafe. As a result we decided to leave but they demanded payment and became aggressive. However we didn't have the 3000 rupees in cash they were demanding, they told us their card machine wasn't working... They threatened to escort us to the ATM and they threatened our driver so that he wouldn't take us elsewhere so we were held hostage in the dark street at 1am in this dodgy neightbourhood!! Terrifying experience, we called the police but they took too long to arrive so we had to just pay the guys at the hotel what we had on us in cash in order for them to let us go. We reported them to the police - I hope this place is closed down, it is not a real hotel.
