We stayed in the Snow Dome for 4 nights while skiing at Rusutsu. The Dome was very comfortable and cozy even in stormy and cold weather (and delivered the best snow of our lives!) The attached kitchen was great for cooking simple meals, and was nice to have given that dining options in Rusutsu are somewhat limited. The free shuttle service between the resort and the pension was just a text message away and made it easy to access skiing and dining (2-3 mins driving) Morii-San and his team were the highlight of the visit. They made us feel right at home and created a really nice atmosphere for all of the guests. Make sure your package includes breakfast - so delicious!!! We will be back for sure!!!

If you want to feel like you're the only person that matters to a host, stay here! Mori, his family and workers are so incredibly attentive and warm towards you that you feel like you are part of their world. Manako picks you up and drives you everywhere whenever you need free of charge and you are given a phone card to let them know when you want to come home. They get you on the mountain before first lifts and will pick you up as late as 9, even then, if you want to stay out late, it is barely a 20 minute walk home. You are greeted every morning with a warm smile and bow and your awesome breakfast is already waiting for you with an open fire overlooking the bird feeder and mount Shirabetsu. The rooms are very well looked after, clean and quite spacious. The bathrooms and showers are fantastic! You can even open the window and watch the snow. Honestly, you won't find a better experience than here. We left and it felt like we were leaving family members.

Super nice and cozy pension. Beautiful cottage and well-maintained. Host is incredible friendly, who makes you feel it's your home in Hokkaido. Delicious breakfast. Easy access to Rusutsu ski resort (shuttle available). Dry room is very helpful for 2 or 3 day skiers. Strongly recommend for your ski/sb trip.

Beautiful fluffy Japanese style pancakes. The space is also nice and cozy. We also took some fried chicken thighs for the road, they are famous for fried chicken.

Outstanding place to stay. Great location and service. Be sure to have dinner there if you can!
