Historic property nicely renovated with comfortable, clean rooms. Free breakfast, pantry and evening bar with Happy Hour. Petaluma is a beautiful city with historic downtown and the Hampton Inn is a great place to explore Sonoma County...we have been there several times!

This may be my #1 hotel location when visiting Petaluma. Close to downtown and next to the 101.

This Petaluma Hampton Inn was a beautiful surprise! I stay at Hampton Inn’s as much as possible, when the rates are reasonable. This particular location is in a repurposed building and I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. Personally, I would’ve enjoyed spending more time in the room, relaxing! The high ceilings and decor all work together; the staff was also really helpful. We were sent a text after check in to open the doors of communication. This came in extra handy after we checked out and realized a pair of (expensive) ear buds were left behind in our room. After a simple text, staff replied back and let us know they were found and would be waiting for us at the front desk. It was a huge relief and made our stay even more refreshing. I look forward to returning!

Great experience. Great cozy night sleep. Clean & tidy rooms and lobby. Great price.

Entrance is in back. Rooms are small, but super clean and updated appliances. Feels brand new - and although they are small rooms, they are just what you need.

We enjoyed our brief stay at the Petaluma Hampton Inn for several reasons. We like the building itself , a renovated former silk mill turned into a clean and modern looking hotel. It’s walking distance to downtown Petaluma . And lastly the complimentary breakfast was a bonus .

We had a nice stay. The room was very quiet and we enjoyed both the cocktail area and the morning breakfast food. We plan to return.

What a unique hotel. I loved it, everything was perfect!

Located in a former silk mill, the hotel is walking distance from a train station and is in a safe neighborhood. Parking was also easy. Check-in staff was friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and spacious, with brick walls and high ceilings. Shower was nice and I liked how the soaps were in dispensers. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was fresh, and the bartender in the evening was very sweet. There were books in the lobby and lots of tourism brochures. The only downside is that there isn't much in the neighborhood, although I walked to the CVS and the car rental company down the street.
