The hotel is still new so it is still comfortable and clean. But I want to give a little advice to the cleaning staff, at that time when my room was being cleaned I happened to be in the room too. So when they were cleaning there was a new spoon that fell to the floor, then I saw it, and the staff just picked it up and put it on the table where there were glasses and coffee. I immediately reprimanded and asked for a replacement spoon. But the staff said I should just wash it in the bathroom sink. In my opinion, it would be better to replace it with a new one than just washing it.

The hotel is new and nice but the service is lacking, from the beginning of check in the lady didn't understand the customer's request, only explained it and then she was okay, at 6 am when I called both the operator and the kitchen, no one answered!! It's a shame that a hotel as good as this has such poor service, as if it's not a star class hotel.

This is my 2nd time staying at the Grand Mercure Mirama Malang hotel, and just like before the hotel staff are very friendly and professional. The cleanliness and quietness of the room are very good. And also the hotel environment is very friendly for children and the elderly.

Check in/out is fast and easy, the room is as advertised, spacious and cool, the breakfast menu is varied and delicious, I like the rice kencur jamu and the cappuccino coffee from a real coffee machine. The hotel is close to the toll gate, so if you go to the airport you won't get stuck in traffic.

check in was slow, the room wasn't ready until almost 4 pm, the room's AC was hot from check-in to check-out, ordered a mountain view room but was given a city view even though the price for a mountain view is more expensive, the hotel view is the roof of people's houses, the bed was so concave that it wasn't replaced, the pillows were also already sagged, there was a lot of hair on the bed sheet, the room was not soundproof, the hotel lobby was hot and the AC seemed to not be turned on, the lighting in the building's parking lot was also lacking, there was only 1 car entrance and exit portal so you had to take turns and whoever was going out didn't want to give in.
however, the room floor was clean, the bathroom was clean, the breakfast service was extraordinary, and there were also a lot of breakfast variants.
overall for a 5-star hotel, there are still many things that need to be improved in terms of service.

There are several things that disappointed me:
1. I booked a mountain view (which is more expensive in the app) but was given a city view room. FYI, mountain view rooms should be even-numbered rooms, while city view rooms are odd-numbered rooms.
2. I had to wait in the lobby to check in until 15.30 because the room was not ready
3. The AC in the room I stayed in was hot
4. The bed was concave / jeglong
5. There were hair clips on the bed sheet
6. WiFi is not hi speed
7. For a 5-star category, the room is not soundproof, sounds from outside or noisy neighbors can still be heard clearly
But there are also several good things:
1. The room floor is clean
2. The bathroom is clean
3. The breakfast service is good and the food variety is very large

Booked 2 rooms for 3 nights with a request for a non-smoking room. Every day there were more activities in the room. On the last day, the room and the clothes we wore smelled of cigarette smoke, I had shortness of breath and coughed.
It seems like the AC or exhaust is leaking..
