Arrived at the hotel at 2am, ready to get a good night's sleep. Instead, I was woken suddenly at exactly 8am, because there were workers hammering nails as loudly as possible into the floor in the hallway directly outside our room. Why on earth would you schedule that for 8am when checkout is 11? Do it after 11. There goes the sleep I paid for.

I must say I was REALLY surprised by this hotel. Looked kinda sketchy from the outside but it was really good! The rooms are big and really really clean! Super comfortable hotel and great staff. Overall a great experience, specially when everything in Cologne was booked, this was a great alternative. Very convenient IF you have a car. The staff gave us great recommendations for dinner and breakfast and they were oh so good! All in all a really pleasant place to stay!

Very clean and the rooms are up to date. Also fairly quiet. Many shopping opportunities can be reached quickly by car. A very good bakery in Widdersdorf is recommended for a hearty breakfast

Converted office/commercial space, bathroom and toilet accessible via a shared hallway - if other guests think they have to shower at 1:00 a.m., you're left with the salad. Spartan room, no fridge, no kettle - table, chair, bed, that's it. Located very out of the way in the commercial area - a small foodie vending machine would have been nice... Certainly ok for a few days on assembly, but nothing to make you "feel good".
