Beautiful newly renovated

The staff are very professional, friendly and welcoming. The food is very good and the location hard to beat. A special thank you to Alexander, the concierge and Gabriele and Francesco and all the staff in the dining room. We felt very well taken care of.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Had a balcony with a beautiful view of the lake. Excellent staff!! Will stay again.

Lived up to every aspect of my expectation of this highly reputed 5-star luxury hotel. In addition to its usual amazing services, they also provided the water sports for us to enjoy in the beautiful Lake Lucerne. We already miss the time there and will definitely come back!

The service deserves a 10 star rating! Every single one of them went out of their way for anything we asked about! We were traveling with small children and the attention to them was extraordinary. They even had special sheets with dogs on them for the little ones and little stuffies for them as well. Unbelievable attention to detail and to its clients.

Love the hotel&staff! Everyone was very kind and want to specially thank to Stephanie & Hassan for their warm welcoming and hospitality. Definitely want to repeat again for next visit to Luzern.

Excellent location, service and staff hospitality

Our stay was awesome! This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel, very convent location (train & boat station, along with shopping and many restaurants are all walkable - within a mile) the staff was incredible and it exceeded all the little details. Rooms are top notch and they spared no expense on amenities.

One of my favorite hotels I’ve ever stayed. The location is sensational! The staff are friendly and quick to help. We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel restaurants and both experiences were superb. The room was clean and had everything one would need while traveling. I can’t wait to go back and stay again!

The facility and service is excellent. The buffet did not include Hot Oatmeal, though buffet includes excellent European Bakery delicacies when asked for it i was told it will be offered for extra charge which is not consistent with other hospitality

Es fehlte mir nun der helvetische Einschlag. Dieses Hotel war früher ein Palace; nun ist es in der Mandarine Oriental Kette und dementsprechend hat es die schweizerische Dimension verloren. Gäste kommen aus Asien und Amerika in die Schweiz… Aber hier spricht niemand mehr schweizer Deutsch und die wunderbaren Gemälde der Schweiz sind zum Teil versteckt und sollten, ganz im Gegenteil, den lokalen Charakter zum Ausdruck bringen. Auch im MO Restaurant findet man kaum etwas schweizerisches. Das Personal ist in der Regel gut, zum Teil sehr gut (Rezeption & Concierge und Valets).
