If you come to Penang to visit Island hospital, this place is quite ok because it's near, clean and also has 2 resto/ caffe nearby. Staffs also kind and helpful. Although this place is well maintain, the place and our room is small (family room), bathroom is small, short ceiling, aircon directly to bed. At nite we could not sleep well because of the aircon and very noisy with dog barking sound, cars engine etc. If you come with medical and sightseeing purpose, you might want to consider stay at a real hotel near Gurney. you can get a much better and larger room with good surrounding (sea, foods etc) with similar (slightly more) price that this one. We moved to hotel in this area on the 3rd day. The feel is much better/ different.

Overall we’re ok with this hotel, only the springbed urgent to be changed to a new one , cause it already not comfortable and not ergonomic , make me cannot sleep well and get back pain, I already complain, but the staff can’t do it

If you're seeking treatment at Island Hospital, staying at this hotel is very convenient because it's only a 2-minute walk. There's a restaurant downstairs that's quite tasty and affordable. The room was clean, but the bed wasn't very comfortable because the king-size bed was actually a combination of two single beds. The toilet was clean, but unfortunately, the shower didn't close, so water splashed everywhere, making the floor very slippery. Be very careful not to slip. The elevator was broken for the entire 5 nights we were there, which was a real bummer. The room was quite spacious, and the bathroom was comfortable. However, the windows weren't soundproof in the triple room. The noise of garbage trucks in the middle of the night was very disturbing.
