The museum is pretty big and quite a lot to see. Price is cheap for a big attraction so would recommend to anyone who visits Batu.

Of all the cool rides, you still have to pay coins for storing your belongings (15 thousand), so if you want to go in, try not to bring too many things (souvenirs)

great place to visit, if you come here, don't come on the weekend because you will be fighting over taking photos because all the spots are very good for photos. I have been here several times so I can differentiate between weekdays and weekends. Even though I have been here many times, I still want to come here again.

Seneng Bagus Banget, Tickets are worth it to see the many collections of luxury cars in their time, cool and well maintained, Dance and Drifting Shows are OK! for the police and military areas are boring but good. Please add a photo spot sign, hehe, because sometimes visitors don't know which side to stand on to get a good photo if they want to take a selfie/be photographed by themselves. Get Vcr 10 thousand/ticket for meals, but for FnB and Souvenir Shops inside the rides unfortunately can't use QRIS (nowadays, please update soon) so it's a bit troublesome for those of us who like cashless. Overall Ok Next time back again.

Voucher redemption is quick and near the entry gate, no need to walk far. Still wondering whose cars are those? Are those cars real or just dummy??🤔🤔

I said it's cool... there are many vehicle collections, from antique cars, miniature ships, to helicopters which are definitely expensive 😂 oh yeah, there are also additional costume rentals for those who want to take pictures wearing costumes. Overall it's fun. I was satisfied taking pictures until my phone's memory was full lol. Anyway, it's worth the 108k for the entrance fee. It was quite quiet when I arrived but when I wanted to leave it was immediately crowded 😅

Museum Angkut: Collections of Transportation Modes from Various Countries are Here!

As Indonesian citizens, we should be proud of our country because we have the first transportation museum in Asia. You’ll find this museum in Batu City, East Java. As the name suggests, this museum has a large collection of vehicles or transportation modes from all over the world. Visiting this museum, visitors are guaranteed to be satisfied while seeing the collections’ beauty in the Museum Angkut. In the Museum Angkut tourist area, visitors can also do a variety of exciting activities, as described below.

Look at the Classic Vehicle Collection

Upon entering Museum Angkut’s main door, you will be greeted by a large room, with hundreds of collections of vehicles. There, you can see classic luxury cars produced tens to hundred years ago, from various countries across the world. There are also other vehicles, such as motorcycles, bicycles, and golden chariot that a long time was used as a mode of transportation in Indonesia. The area on the 1st floor looks so luxurious with the chandelier as the ornaments. There, you can also take pictures on unique sofas made from modifications of automotive items.

Getting into the RI Airplane 1

During the time, only certain people are allowed to enter the presidential plane. But at the Museum Angkut, anyone can sit and enjoy the opportunity of being on an RI 1 flight. The Boeing 737-200 was on the top floor of the Museum Angkut building. On the plane, visitors can explore VVIP rooms, such as the president's office, meeting rooms, presidential staff room, Paspampres cabin, and dining room. The atmosphere before entering the plane was made to be very similar to the airport area. First, you are required to pass through a metal detector gate, then you must queue to enter the aircraft. On the plane, there are beautiful flight attendants who will guide visitors while exploring the presidential plane.

Around the 'World'

In addition to seeing a collection of various modes of transportation, at the Transport Museum you can also “travel” around the 'world'—because in that area there are replicas of world’s popular areas.

Villages in Jakarta

If you want to know Jakarta’s view in the past, explore the Museum Angkut Batu Batavia zone. There, you will see an area of the Chinese community adjacent to the Betawi village. You will also find replicas of Jakarta Kota Station and Sunda Kelapa Harbor In the same area.

Gangster Town

Have you ever thought about being stuck in a big city with lots of gangsters in it? It is, most likely, will be scary, right? But of course, that impression will be different if you are in a gangster city of Gangster Town Museum Angkut. Instead of being afraid, you can actually have fun with the gangsters there. You can take pictures with gangsters that wore costumes like those in American films, against the background of American-style shopping center buildings.

Cities in Europe

How does a night in Europe feel like? If you've never seen it, no need to worry. You can feel the sensation of a European night in Museum Angkut. In the European Zone, you can explore replicas of several countries’ cities in Europe, such as France, Italy, Germany, and England. You can see replicas of community activity centers, such as restaurants, bakeries, bars, cafes, people's homes, and tourist icons of these countries.

Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace, the residence of the Queen of England, is a location that is sought after by tourists around the world. But if you want to know the grandeur of the palace, you don't have to go all the way to London. Because the replica of Buckingham Palace Palace already exists in Museum Angkut. In fact, you can also take pictures while sitting next to the Queen Elizabeth II wax statue that looks so similar to the original.

Learning the Heritage of the Ancestors at the Indonesian Heritage Museum

Out of the Museum Angkut area, you will find a museum called the Indonesian Heritage Museum. At that place, there are many cultural objects of ancestral heritage from various regions in Indonesia. You can see a diverse collection of ancient books, traditional clothing, ancient batik fabrics, craft masks, puppets, and traditional weapons.

Trying the Culinary at Pasar Apung

After tired of walking around Museum Angkut, now is the time you spoil your stomach. In the area outside the Museum of Transport, there is a big Pasar Apung or roughly translated as Floating Market. There, you can enjoy a variety of delicious culinary delights from various regions. Food stalls in Pasar Apung are made with building designs resembling traditional houses in Indonesia. Each building stands on a river. If you want to feel a different shopping sensation, visitors can rent a boat and buy these foods from the boat.

In Museum Angkut Batu, in addition to traveling, you can also learn about various modes of transportation throughout the world. This tourist location is open every day at 12.00-20.00 WIB. Meanwhile, to get easy access, you can book a Museum Angkut entrance ticket through Traveloka. In Traveloka, there are promotional entrance ticket prices for Museum Angkut.
