Surat Thani has three bus terminals, located on the north side of Talad Mai Road, between Soi 8 and Soi 10, known as Talad Kaset 1. The service provides frequent local orange buses departing from the train station from 07:00 to 18:00, with fares ranging from 10 to 15 baht. Across Talad Mai Road, between Soi 31 and Soi 33, is Talad Kaset 2, a larger terminal. The long-distance bus terminal, known as Bor Kor Sor Mai, is seven kilometers west of the city center on Route 401.
