Sentosa is almost like a vocational hideout for Singaporeans throughout the year. From events and school activities to family gatherings, there are tons of things to do in Sentosa! Whether it is a staycation, water adventure or just chilling by the beach, there is something for everyone of all ages.
Here’s a history lesson about Singapore for you! Fort Siloso is the only preserved coastal fort in Singapore since World War II and if you didn’t know, it was built in the year 1874. Fort Siloso was built to prevent the Japanese soldiers from coming into Singapore. From there it evolved into a space for prisoners of war, then a retreat centre for the Catholics of the British Forces and lastly, the sunny island that we know now - Sentosa.
Take a walk at Fort Siloso Skywalk and take a look at the magnificent skyline view of the Singapore waters. The skywalk is 11 stories high and 181m long. Along your way, you’ll meet Scott, the virtual tour guide and he will be guiding you through your walk in Fort Siloso. It will definitely be an interactive experience that you wouldn’t want to miss! Do not miss out on the ‘Guns of Sentosa’ and you can get a look at the bunkers along with up close encounters with peacocks who are usually roaming around in that area.
Be one with the waters and beat the heat at Adventure Cove Waterpark! If you are one who is up for a challenge and water adventure, you will love your time here and we promise, you will have the time of your life for sure!
There are a total of seven water rides and some of our favourites were the Pipeline Plunge, Riptide Rocket, Whirlpool Washout and of course, we will never miss out on a chance to duel our friends at the Dueling Racer - it’s a challenge between friends that will be fun!
But for all our not-so-adventurous friends, do not feel left out as there are a ton of other rides and activities for you to try! Take your floats and chill by the Bluwater Bay or Adventure Water - perfect way to laze your day away. Head over to the Bluwater Bay to experience the waves of the ocean and snorkel your way through with the fishes of the seas over at Rainbow Reef!

Skyline Luge at Sentosa may be one of the best attractions and not to mention, it is a great family activity for all! If you’re in for the heights, hop on the Skyride and enjoy the ride as you take in Sentosa’s view from the bird’s eye along with the South China Sea - it is a view that’s not to be missed!
The great thing about Luge is that you get to slide down at your own speed and the ride can be enjoyed during both day and night. If you are a speed lover and feel the need for speed is real, you must head down to the luge and have the time of your life thrilling down! If you are worried about your safety, worry not as the Luge instructors will be there to brief and guide you through the steps prior to riding the Luge.

When it comes to a picnic, Sentosa is the best place to have it. Why? It has the sun, sand and sea - the only three “S” that we need! Grab your mat, food & drinks, sand tools and a hat to shield you from the sun! If it’s your lucky day, you may even get a chance to hang out with a furry friend, our picnic had one and it was a ton of fun!

Read up on the flora and fauna of Singapore in the Geology Gallery along with the history that comes along with it! Also, we think dinosaurs may have been on the Islands of Sentosa during their time here. What do you think?
