Established in 1936, Frankfurt Airport is now the busiest international airport in Germany.
The airport has two passenger terminals for domestic and international flights and both terminals are interconnected by the people mover system SkyLine.
Frankfurt Airport is the main hub for Lufthansa, Condor and AeroLogic airlines.

Munich Airport is an international airport serving the Munich metropolitan region and Upper Bavaria.
There are two terminals in the airport to cater for domestic and international passengers. The terminals are interconnected by Munich Airport Center where passengers and visitors can find a shopping mall and an S-Bahn station.
Munich Airport is currently the hub for Lufthansa and its subsidiaries, Condor and TUI fly Deutschland.
There is also a Visitor’s Park dedicated to sightseeing of the westerly aircraft apron and Terminal 1, and a viewing terrace on the roof of Terminal 2.

Düsseldorf Airport is located 7 kilometres north of Düsseldorf's centre and serves the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.
All domestic and international passengers are catered to within the three terminals at the airport.
The airport is also the main hub for Eurowings Airlines.

Berlin Brandenburg Airport began its operation in 2020 and serves the Berlin-Brandenburg Metropolitan Region.
The airport was named after Willy Brandt, the former West Berlin mayor and West German chancellor.
The commercial airport caters for domestic and international traffic by air in three separate terminals.

Hamburg Airport is an international airport serving the Hamburg metropolitan region. It is located 8.5 kilometres away from the city centre.
The airport has two terminals for domestic and international passengers, both of which are interconnected by the Airport Plaza.
The Airport Plaza has a central security check for the terminals, an S-Bahn station and facilities like dining, shops, and others.
