It's very very convenient for me now my missus and kids are gone

Afraid this is so run down and awful, bed ancient, black mould on roof, broken window, aircon didn’t cope, just so tired…

refused to stay after the first night.

Would not recommend as the facilities are very run down and the clientel are less than suitable

Parking was hard

Friendly staff, but property was old and not well maintained. Springs poked through the mattress, and my wife got some bites whilst sitting on the small chair in the room. Good location, close to beach and Yacht club. Overall, would not recommend it.

Didn’t stay the night. It was so awful I left and found somewhere else. How this place can get away with charging $170 a night and advertise on your platform is fraud. Disgusting, disgraceful and it should be shut down. Pillow were wafer thin, room smelt of smoke, no WIFI, mattress had springs you could feel, not enough room to swing a cat. Marketing photos must have been taken last century. Simply a rip off. A4 pic on the wall advising that no refunds will be offered told me I wasn’t the first guest to leave. YUK!

I liked the assistance from the staff. I didnt like there were no side tables, no teaspoons, no toiletries, and I didn't like that other guests were drinking and fighting at 3am keeping me awake

You get what you pay for (bed, shower/toilet) and small room. The staff were extremely polite & helpful. Security gate made our stay feel safe. Close to Fannie Bay restaurants & Parap markets which was handy. Comfy bed & clean sheets. Shower was old & stained but clean. Thanks for fitting us in at last minute.

Website says latest check in is 7pm whereas Reception closes at 6pm! Main phone number is not answered.

Limited facilities - my guess is the place will be sold soon.

Overpriced and dirty rooms

On arrival I thought I arrived at a abandoned building. The office was disgusting and smelt like there was a dead body in it. Was escorted to the room and was horrified by the conditions. It stank was mouldy AC was rattling it was dirty disgusting looked like a prion cell out of Bangkok Hilton. I was too scared to touch anything for fear of disease. I handed the keys back and high tailed it out if there. I wouldn’t recommend it for wild animals. STAY CLEAR !!!

Could not contact for late check in. I chose to stay somewhere else also due to the reputation and really shocking reviews on this place. Wotif and trip advisor should not be recommending such a place for people to stay. You’re completely leading people to a horrible experience based on your recommendations.. this is bad !

I had a very pleasant stay at this motel. The owner is a very lovely helpful man. I felt comfortable as soon as I got there. I had a great nights sleep.

We made a huge mistake by not checking reviews. We did select a cheap motel but this was unacceptable and Wotif needs to take some responsibility by listing the filthiest place I have ever stayed. We paid for 3 nights and left after first night. The most prevalent signage was “no refunds” so clearly it is a common issue.

This property is disgusting. We did not stay but moved to another hotel. The Capricornia is filthy, unsafe and you should not have it in your portfolio. Gives Wotif a bad name
