Mantra Wollongong

I walked into my room, found some type of disgusting stains all over the lounge and cushions. The property smells, is old and dirty. There is one lift that takes forever to get up and down. The room itself is awful. Bare and old with very little in it - just large open void. I left the property immediately upon walking into my room and changed to another hotel. A definite hotel to avoid. Looks nothing like the photos online.

The lift wasn't clean, the floor needed vacuuming & mopping. Staff was very pleasant & helpful especially David.

Hotel was ok , lift was very slow! Our room was not ready at 1pm , could not check in , the tv in main room was rubbish could only watch channel 10 and ABC have stayed in many Mantra Hotels , with much better TV options, it is 2025, sure they can do better!!

Room was not ready at time of check in No toilet paper in the room Bin lids dirty Oven door dirty Cleaner had to check that there was no toilet paper in bathroom before issuing us with two rolls

Enjoy our stay, close to things we needed. Room we had was very comfortable. If need arises would stay again next time

Perfect property for those of us just needing a bed for the night while exploring the amazing surrounds.

Good position. Friendly helpful staff. Kitchen could use more cutlery and a fry pan .

Room was dusty

Nice rooms and easy parking, but the location wasn’t the best. Some sort of industrial site next door. Probably best for a business trip, not a fun weekend away.

Check in time was delayed as very busy and cleaners were unable to clean apartment on time. Otherwise no problems really. Apartment was ideal for our purposes as far as location etc.

Very happy with property, especially taking dogs. I must say I saw plenty of dogs but didn't hear them. I think my biggest concern was for property next door, that had grass area, which was obvious place that people were taking their dogs to, but I disappointed that I'm sure there were guests not picking up after themselves. I think hotel could make a few dollars doing a doggy daycare

Property is aging, shows. Lack of A/C or mechanical ventilation through the bedrooms and only have a split system in the living area.

Has laundry facility in the main bathroom. Ensuite to main and wrap around balcony. Nice aspect 😊

Very clean and very reasonably priced

Not the best location if you want to enjoy the beach and the local cousine.

Close to the hospital and doctors is the only thing that this property has going for it. It’s in a very run down condition. I could look past this but for how dirty the unit was, had to clean mould off the shower floor before use among other issues in including the flooring not being cleaned properly. Also the on site parking was unsecured. Could not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

It is a great place to stay and Sammy on the front desk was just fantastic.

Staff member at reception was in training and was not able to answer some of our questions
