Vivian is a fantastic host with an excellent home. She took time to make sure I was fully set up and comfortable with all the utilities, and the place was spotless. Vivian really goes above and beyond to ensure that guests are comfortable. Thank you!

Great accommodations. Felt like home. Close to restaurants and city center. Had good ammenities such as communal kitchen. Recommend washing the dishes b4 u use them since guests weren't good at cleaning the dishes they used. Need to reserve parking when reserving room. Room was clean. Would stay at the Comfy Guest house again!

Pretty good staff is very friendly. Poor drivers and sketchy area. But was safe inside the building with a code and a key to my room. Would recommend.

The place is clean and organized, very quiet. You can prepare the food, the refrigerator is share, The cook is very clean and the bathroom too

Firstly, I’m a veteran traveler, with a very forgiving nature. But this was an unfortunate experience. The proprietors demand a portion of the payment in cash, which felt strange to me. There is a really lovely Egyptian lady who greeted me at the door, told me to remove my shoes before entering to take my payment And showed me the room. It really feels more like a rooming house than a hotel. I know there have been generous people review this place kindly, but my experience was negative.There is an open kitchen on the second level with seemingly local people playing loud music and yelling. The room was at the end of the hallway and had no heat during a cold November day. I actually left And booked a proper hotel. For somebody looking for an inexpensive room, this might be suitable. I left the key on the doorstep, and the owner had my number and rather than offering me a rebate was harassing me for an extra $60 because they couldn’t find the key. It does not feel good to have to leave a negative review. :-( it felt like the owners live in the basement possibly and also there is a real Whiff about the place.

Comfy Guest House provides a warm, budget-friendly stay in Toronto. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the service was friendly and attentive. It's a great choice for an enjoyable and convenient visit to the city!

Very clean place to stay at, Vivian was lovely to correspond with including staying up late to let us check in after flight delays. Overall good experience, good price.

The place was good, the staff friendly. My only concern was that the room wasn't sound proof. The water pipe was making a lot of noise whenever used by others.

Me encanto todo, la senora es super amable y te explica todo a la perfeccion, lo unico malo es que despues de las 9 no hay nada alrededor para comer, pero en general me parecio super limpio, seguro y con gran acceso a transporte, para desayunar, les recomiendo un cafe cerquitita que se llama Epos coffee, las chicas son super buena onda.

I really enjoyed my experience staying in Toronto at the Comfy Guest House. This is a place you can certainly rest and relax. Or if you like to explore like me...the area is safe and walkable. It is situated in an area convenient with shops...dining...and groceries. Tourist attractions such as Eaton Center and Dunges Square are not far away. Staff is nice and facility is neat.

With walking distance to downtown. Also close to public transportation.

Pros - The house is taken care by Vivian and she is doing a great job. - Competitive Price - Close to Downtown - Renovated hardwood floor Cons: - My room was No. 7 was next to the wash room and I could hear everything day and night. It is an old colonial house. It would walk me up from sleep at night (Exhausting) .Room is inside without sun (Not a good room). Choose a different room. - I had to remove curtains and small carpet because of my allergy. - Owner mandates full Cash payment of the remaining balance upon arrival. You have to arrange for it in advance. I suggest to choose a different room that is sunny and with private washroom.

Awesome location for catching major transit routes, fairly quiet street, and perfectly suitale for an affordable stay. Nothing fancy-- simply a private small room and shared kitchen/bathroom.

Very accommodating and had a wonderful stay

This is a great room for rent. The bed was the best I've had for quite a while. A very clean environment with a full kitchen. The other clients are quiet and keep a clean place. A home away from home !

Had a great stay at the Comfy guest house and would definitely stay again. Thank you Vivian for making us feel welcome and your help when we had any questions. About 40 minutes walk from the CN tower so close to most sites and taxis if you don't want to walk aren't expensive.
