The sheets were stained and the heater makes too much noise. Everything else is good!

The first room at check in was not clean sheets were stained and there was hair in the sheets and on the pillow cases. Also noticed chunks of food on the carpet. Was given a second room that was clean at least. The heat is hard to control either to hot or to cold and the floor was always cold. On the last morning we tried using the microwave but that kicked out the power to the tv side of the room...Glad we were on our way out.

Renovated and great customer service

Our room was so cold we could see our breath. Took one full day for the heat to warm our room but once it did it was great. Zero heat in hallways and the windows had ice on the inside it was so cold. Asked for ice bag and was given a used clear bag with staples in it. Asked for paper cups employee said he would bring them to room but did not. Room itself was very clean and nice besides the ripped leather couch that was pealing all over the place. We were in a dog friendly room so I am assuming that’s why the couch was in such poor condition. This place needs some TLC. But all in all rooms are very clean. Location is not in the nicest of neighbourhood’s but very close to the Sudbury Wolves arena.

Great stay

The top of the blanket, on both beds were dirty. The towels had stains on them. One small towel wasn’t even “white”, when it’s supposed to be. Room insulation is so bad. We could hear the guests next door talking. We had to turn on the fan to drown out their voices so we can sleep. Then at about 11:30pm, there was a loud beeping noise that either came from the hallway or from next door. It beeped for nearly 20minutes! I tried to call front desk, but the phone doesn’t even have a button to call front desk. I had to Google the hotel’s number and call from my cell. When I first said there was a loud beeping noise, the concierge told me it may be the alarm and that I should “just remove the batteries.” What?! First of all, that would be against fire safety code! When I said it’s out in the hallway, but at that moment it stopped, he just said “ok”.

Nice budget hotel

Everything was fine until my late checkout was interupted by two separate knocks on two separate occasions. I requested a late check due to the long drive ahead of me and to have the quietness of making necessary phone calls. The dining area was under construction and it was nice to see that they made it accessible and comfortable, considering the mess construction creates. I was disappointed to find that the phone and alarm clock was unplugged. Once i pulled the night table away, I saw that the area wasn't cleaned. Overall everything else was fine.

The sheer curtains were torn. I did complain incase they would keep my $250.00 damage deposit, along with the drapes not fastened to the rod properly. The bed skirt was also partially hanging off, although the sheets and towels were clean. Could use new pillows since all three together were not as good as one. In the a.m. when I took my shower, the shower curtain was torn also and the tap for the shower was spraying all over causing the water to leak onto the floor. I did clean it up, prior to any damage being done and did tell the front desk clerk who said they would get someone to look at it. The coffee pot was full of dust/dirt, no one used it for a long time and neither did we. Behind the bathroom door needed cleaning and the grout lines on the tub surround also needs cleaning. The breakfast buffet was good but felt uneasy with the attendant following and then standing there watching us. We stayed at this hotel many times before, but it has certainly run down, including the breakfast area. TV was on but couldn't hear it. $160.63/night was a bit pricey through Hotels.com. Don't take room #127 unless you check the bathtub faucet first. If there is a next time, I'll check the rate with the hotel direct and do a better check of the rooms condition. They did change the shower curtain while we were still there.

The staff was super friendly and went above for its guests. The hotel is under renovation so that was the only concern. Once completed I am sure they will have great success.

I requested a room on main floor and not near an entrance door and away from lots of light. I got exactly this, rough sleep

Excellent place to stay

the room heater was terrible causing either a super hot room or cold room - no lower temp was accepted. The breakfast buffet was less than acceptable. Will not stay there again. thanks,

Nothing fancy, just a bed for the night. They had a pet friendly room on the app, but when I went to pre-check in it said no pets, so i had to call and confirm. They did have pet friendly rooms, but it is a hard tile floor in the whole suite and the floor was cold. The beds were ok, but aluminum frames that popped loudly whe. Getting into the bed.

I stayed at the Days Inn for one night and that was enough. I was given a room that already had people in it. I opened the door only to find luggage all over the place. When I went back to the front desk they apologized and gave me a new key. I’m not sure if they went and spoke to the other guests as well. My sister’s room was fairly nice, however her TV didn’t work and her room key didn’t work at one point. They said she may have to switch rooms as well. When I asked if we would get any money back they said no. My room was missing the towel hanger in the bathroom, the mirror was dirty, the couch was ripped up, noisy, terrible experience.
