As mentioned, by many, this is an older hotel that either was built or renovated 40-50 years ago, so it definitely needs a update asap. It was classified as a 4 star hotel, but I would say it is rather a 3-3.5 start hotel, and ranked 4/5 out of that level. The elevator went on "maintenance" randomly during two days during our 3 day stay, so this was massively inconvenient. Also, our room was never cleaned on the last full day/night of our stay for some reason. It is very centrally located, very clean and spacious, however, for an extra $50+ a night, I would stay at a better hotel.

Best accommodations for the downtown Montreal area. Everything was convienent. Close to major attractions and neighborhoods of Montreal. Definitely will come back soon

We had such a nice stay at Delta Marriot Montreal for the Christmas Holiday. All of the staff we encountered were so nice and helpful. From check in, to the concierge, to the pool and fitness staff. Our king bed with pull out couch room was large and comfortable. Only wish it had a larger fridge/freezer and microwave. Bathroom with shower was large and clean with complimentary shampoo, conditioner and body wash in large bottles in the shower and lotion, shower cap, and shoe polisher cloth. Pool, hot tub, fitness center with squash ball court were nice additional amenities. Although it's closed from 12pm - 5pm during the week and were cleaning hot tub on a Saturday morning. Nice that they cleaned it, but weren't able to go in it early in the morning until it heated back up so missed out that day since we were out the rest of the day and it fills up with lots of kids in the afternoon and evening. Parking was in a covered and secured area but not much room for large trucks that can only park on first floor parking. We were fortunate to find a space but if that is full you need to park in off-site open unsecured lot. Dinner at the onsite restaurant was delicious and our service was great considering they were busy with only one server who was trying to keep up. Nice lounge sitting area in the lobby and convenient location to all of the downtown attractions to walk to and quick easy access to subway and buses. We will definitely be back!

Everything at the hotel was great! The service was excellent! Everyone was very nice, friendly and ready to help. The manager Marie made us feel so welcome, our little daughter didn’t want to leave and really enjoyed it there. She is really good at what she does, it is not often that you can meet someone like Marie who is genuine and make you feel special. I gave 4 to condition only because of 2 things that we thought could be better, the carpets and the towels in the rooms. They are old and could definitely be replaced to make the room look and feel nicer. it is a great place to stay and we would definitely recommend it and stay there again if visiting Montreal.

Staff is amazing, building is a bit on the older side.. Renos wouldnt to make the rooms more modern wouldnt hurt. Other than that everything is great at the delta!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. However overall would not recommend - 1. cold water in the shower. 2. the thermostat in the room was stuck at 16.5C (which is quite chilly) and I could not update it. 3. The phone in my room didn't work so I was not able to call for assistance. 4. I ordered pizza for dinner from the hotel restaurant using an app and it was very thin, soggy and floppy and fell apart when I picked it up. Very nice staff and good location but I will not return to this hotel.

We liked the location a great deal near the underground city. We walked during the cold weather through the underground shops and got quick bites and warm beverages. The staff for breakfast was great. Hugo met us each morning at our table and remembered our preferred choices. The front desk gave us detailed directions to places throughout Montreal. Parking was available right underneath the hotel and was very warm and secure. We found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, their was one evening where guests were fighting in the hallway in the middle of the evening. This ruined our sleep. The rooms on the street side are noisy from car and truck traffic. The health club and pool were the best I have experienced in a non-resort type hotel. I would recommend and go back again.

The parking clearance is wrong. We had a cargo box on top which barely cleared the entrance but when we got to the 2nd and 3rd level parking the box scrapped the roof and hanging pipes multiple times.
