Ramada by Wyndham Prince Albert

There were 5 of us in separate rooms for a 4 night stay. We had no hand towels, bath mats or face cloths only 2 bath towels. On day 3 one hand towel was provided. The fire alarm went off twice the first night and two fire extinguishers were discharged in both stairwells (no fire). I had no stopper in either the sink or the bathtub. There were homeless people sleeping in both stairwells on the last night. Had to walk back up and take the elevator because I could not get past them (not that I tried very hard). No maid service over all 4 days, not even to remove garbage. Large patch on outside of bathroom door where someone had punched a hole. A lot damaged walls in hallways. A very rough crowd entering and exiting the lobby. I have stayed in hotels on 4 continents and this was the worst I have ever seen. Absolutely horrible.

Wasn’t going to do a poor review but a couple of small things tilted it that way. Check in - 5pm - still cleaning rooms and asked if I wanted a different room than booked. One was ready within just a few minutes so I went up, room was 62 degrees with heating unit looked like it was kicked and fan was screeching away. Went back and asked for a different room, went to a cheaper room. All good - called to get receipt emailed after check out and received blank receipt with no info. Just a pain when everything should go smoothly but everything ends up being work.

I booked a Studio suite king, the first room I went to was a double queen regular room, the second room was a single queen handicap room. By this time I had enough, we stayed, no usb charge ports, handicap adjustable shower head was broken, light bulbs burned out, the room was dirty. I recommended not to advertise this hotel at all.

This property is filthy and needs renovation. I will not stay here.

Our room cost 200 for the night and the room was absolutely run down, damage everywhere, door from cabinet fell off and got my son in the head, water damage on the walls with wall paper bubbled everywhere, tubs were worn through, doors had holes and massive patches, carpet was beyond filthy. If there was any other room in another hotel available we would have left. The staff themselves were fine. Hot tub apparently hasn't worked in over a year. It was completely horrible.

My rooms TV did not work. Just the cable box. There was no fridge or microwave. Coffee station was on the desk. No hand soap, shampoo or conditioner in the washroom. No hand towels. Body wash and lotion was drilled into the wall beside the sink LOL. The water smelled like vinegar that night and morning? The bathroom door had punched holes in it. Bed inspection was good though. Rug was gross.

The front lobby of the hotel was clean but it was very small and closed in. The staff was very friendly and quick. But the hotel overall is not in great shape. The room appeared clean but the carpets are badly in need of a shampoo. It was damp/wet in spots. The surfaces were wiped down and were clean. The sofa/hide a bed appeared sunken and badly used, as though maybe the mattress was gone. I didn’t even attempt to sit on it. The bed and pillows were clean and comfy. The seat of the office chair looked like soda or some other liquid had been spilled on it. Again, I didn’t use it. The bathroom was clean. But the toilet was very low, not very accessible friendly. The shower/tub had a rubber non-slip mat inside that has seen better days. There were no facecloths, no shower mat for the floor, one bath towel was stained pretty badly but appeared clean. The soap dispensers were not single use. And were not attached to the wall. That was very off putting. There were two larger bottles in the shower and three bottles just sitting on the bathroom counter. There was a single use shampoo and conditioner which I did use, but I didn’t use the handsoaps. To be fair to the staff, I did not call and request wash clothes or check for a mat for the floor. Was just there the one night for a quick stay. The location was good and easy to access. Close to the casino and lots of dining options. But I would probably choose another hotel next time I am there.

Pool and hot tub wasn’t useable, people drunk and fighting in hallways, tv cable wasn’t working only had one channel let the desk know but didn’t bother helping us to fix it

Convenient location

It was so dirty, body hair and blood on bed, counters never looked wiped, holes on doors and walls. Door handles barely worked on bathroom door. Felt like you were in the ghetto.
