Holiday Inn Mississauga Toronto West by IHG

Hotel was very clean. Staff were helpful and friendly My biggest complaint is how paper thin the walls were. Could hear the people in the room next to us (shared wall behind the bed) as if they were in the room with me. Unfortunately they were having conversations until 3am and i struggled to sleep as a result of it as did my kids. The room upstairs was also sounding like it was moving things around until near midnight. I stay in hotels very often and in the last long while this hasnt been such an issue with the walls being paper thin like my stay was here. Kids were also playing games knocking on the doors and running until near midnight. While i did contact reception to advise of the ongoing issue and was assured it would be handled it still persisted a few times more beyond that. While this is not a hotel issue and more of a parenting issue it was rather disappointing that it was just another thing that became a fustration of my stay. My recommendation here would have been for a staff to circle back with me to confirm the issue had been spoken to.

Wonderful staff, polite and professional. The hotel was centrally located to all of our needs and very accommodating.

Desiree at the front desk made the whole experience great and its because of the service and positive attitude of the staff that we will book again with this hotel whenever needed

Quiet and the beds were very comfortable

Holiday Inn never dissapoimts. Value for money and close to the airport to avoid most of the crazy traffic in Toronto.

It was an easy check-in. The bed was very comfortable. I only needed one night stay but it looked like a very cozy hotel. They also had a Tim Hortons behind where anyone can eat breakfast. It was good.

I've stayed here several times in the past and always enjoyed my stay.. This time, however was not great. The first room we had absolutely stunk - literally. We were moved rooms but our a/c wasn't working properly. Then we tried to use the pool and it was not functional and absolutely freezing......not impressed at all

Worst management. Dirty rooms

Room condition and amenities were excellent. I suggest though that a recycle bin be provided to promote garbage segregation. Restaurant was always closed or was not clear as to whether it was in fact closed or open. Reception staff needs further training or experience on hotel courtesies or pleasantries. Staff hardly smiling or greeting unless greeted. They were not rude. They were just not warm and friendly as a hotel guest would expect.

Room was freezing would be nice if it was set to a comfortable temp before check in that would be a lovely addition to service

I was charged $7 on my credit card for a wine opener after I had checked out. I don't even recall seeing a wine opener in the room. This is a fasle charge and I am mad that they charged me for something didn't take. We stay at the location the night before we flew out to Mexico. My girlfriend doesnt drink alcohol, and I very rarely drink myself.

Great service and rooms were up to date

Overall, it was a great stay, very friendly and helpful staff, especially after we realized we left an item in the room an hour after checking out. They were very quick to help us retrieve it without complaint.
