Very picturesque!

The hotel is in a nice quiet area. I felt very safe staying there. I feel the room carpets could use replacing because it looks like many pets stayed there and had accidents. Many spots around.

This hotel is located in the Old Quebec City and is very walkable to shops and restaurants. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable and clean. I have stayed here a few times and recommend it highly

Nice big rooms

We had the loft, very interesting layout with plenty of room and a fully functional kitchen. It's in the older building (attached to the new one), so no elevator, but not hard to access through some fairly old stairs. Room was nice and comfortable with lots of space, but one huge drawback for us: all the windows are sealed shut (in spite of the information received from the front desk before booking, that all rooms have opening windows). Luckily there was an access door to some external stairs in the back that we could open to let some fresh air in. The espresso machine in front of the reception was a nice bonus.

My wife stayed for two nights at Hotel Champlain with a friend visiting from England. They had a marvellous time in the city and thoroughly enjoyed their stay at the hotel. Mathieu and the rest of the team made them feel very welcome and were most helpful. The room was large and vlight and the beds were extremely comfortable. They highly recommend Hotel Champlain for a visit to the old city of Quebec - the hotel is walking distance from all the sights with the city walls. They would definitely stay there again.

Very short walk to Old Quebec City. Only a few blocks to Frontenac and short walk to meeting place for tours. Lots of places to dine along the main streets near the hotel . Lovely hotel and very friendly and helpful staff.

Nice location. Walkable to main attractions. Friendly staff. The e-Mini-Bar at the lobby is pretty cool.

One night stay on our roadtrip. Location was good for exploring old Quebec city, close to restaurants.

Love Vieux Quebec, the hotel was lovely with a good breakfast, great to USA and Canadian standards, not so good to Philippine standards, but yes, we were pleased with breakfast. I would stay here again for certain.

A great property located within the historic city walled area with easy walking to all points of interest. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious and the lift/elevator helped with our heavy baggage. Noted that some other local hotels have small rooms and no lift so we already knew the benefits here. Breakfast was very reasonable with a good range to choose from. The room and bathroom were clean and well equipped. Nice bonus was the range of wines available to purchase by the glass in the reception area along with a good coffee machine and seating area. Minor point was the difficulty we had getting the television to operate although the staff got it working a couple of times. This was not an issue as we were out exploring most of the time. There was good Wi-Fi coverage so this handy for free-streaming radio stations, getting tourist info etc. Highly recommended hotel. We arrived and left by train. Uber/taxis available. Don’t think about dragging your cases from the station up to the centre town area, it’s quite steep. Overall great visit to Quebec City.

100% would book again :) the front desk staff were wonderfully helpful. We had the junior suite and it was very comfortable. The location can’t be beat. It’s so central and easy to walk to everything.

The wine bar in the lobby was a wonderful treat each night.
