Nice and clean

I stayed here for just a night. The receptionist that welcomed us was very nice and helpful however, there was no drinkable bottled water in the refrigerator, no toothpaste among the toiletries pack in the bathroom. I feel these things are simple easy to get things to make staying experience better.

Hotel was extremely clean , very quiet , friendly staff . Restaurant food was amazing.

We recently stayed for a last minute trip to Ottawa with our kids to end their school break. It was a lot of fun and the staff we absolutely amazing. Was very accommodating and friendly.

Need better coffee makers and more services in tgevhotel

Clean property within walking distance to restaurants and easy, close parking. Small pool and hot tub that was good for the kids.

I appreciated the warm welcome upon entering the hotel by the first receptionist. I was offered an upgrade for a nominal fee. Upon entering my room, the bathroom had been used. There were dirty towels, garbage in the receptacle and dirty sink and counter in the bathroom. The television didn't allow me to use my Netflix, prime Disney etc. there was a bag of takeout in the hallway (not mine)that sat for three days until I placed it on the chambermaid cart so it wouldn't be left. After requesting refresh services, the counters were left dirty.

I was there for 6 nights and housekeeping only cleaned my room once, and that was after I asked them to. One of two elevators was broken during a time when kids hockey teams were there causing long wait times for the elevator. The adjacent restaurant was closed for breakfast every morning despite all the signs in the hotel advertising otherwise. When I checked out and planned to share the feedback, there wasn’t any staff at the front desk and guests were backed up waiting to check out, so I just dropped my room cards in the express checkout box and left.

1 of 2 elevators out of service with a full hotel. Not good. Room fridge was unplugged so my beer never cooled. A travesty!

The hotel wasn't anything special. The room had a funky smell when we walked in. We opened the patio door to air it out. I booked a king size bed but the bed did not appear to be a king. I called the front desk to ask if there was a mistake, apparently I booked a "standard" king room. I was not aware there were different in the sizes of king beds. We were disappointed and were sure it was a Queen room we had. I booked it using Expedia, I have never had an issue using them in the past, we usually get what we book. We won't be going back to this hotel anytime soon.

Nice hotel nice room great amenities but room 201 is very noisy; can hear traffic and some other annoying noise…gurgle or fan not sure but it is definitely annoying

The main areas of the hotel are clean and staff seems friendly. Prior to arrival I requested a room upgrade, if available direct with the hotel and they granted the request which was nice! Our room was spacious and clean when we arrived although lacking a few toiletries. My area of disappointment lay in the housekeeping when staying more than one night. I stayed in May for two nights, put the hanger on my door requesting housekeeping at 9am, and when I got back to the room at 10pm, the hanger was still there. I assumed they were busy and thought it was a 'one-off'. I called the front desk and requested the items I needed. Pretty much the same happened this time. They did come in the room though, but only replaced the toilet paper? Nothing else? Since Covid, it seems many hotels charge more to stay but do less. There's no longer service if you stay 2 to 3 days; you have to 'request' it and at this hotel it's spotty at best. Having a clean room may not be important to all as it's 'just a place to sleep' but it's important to me. I don't think I'll stay here again.

Nice place. Clean. Coffee in the morning was great. Having Chop there is awesome.
