Loved the hospitality

Beautiful hotel, but because of the conference you have to wait extra time for them to get your room ready. Otherwise everything else is perfect.

Excellent customer service.

Bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly when I walked in, nothing major, just a small stuff wasn’t cleaned off. The staff at the front desk take it very seriously and did a wonderful job to solve this problem. Great location and great staff. I had wonderful experience here and would stay again in the future. Highly recommended.

I’m posting this for my wife, as I booked the hotel for her solo trip. During the night the A/C wasn’t getting cool, it couldn’t get below 22 deg. The hotel didn’t even have a fan for to use. The hotel offered me a mediocre breakfast and a late check out after I complained and they moved me around to different rooms without any sleep. However, the next day while I was trying to take a nap around 11:45am, a man knocked on the door once and let himself into the room without saying anything. After my shock and I confronted him, he said he was room service and had the wrong room. When I checked out I asked to speak to the manager, Mark Wong, who said the man was checking laundry which is different than what the man said. Mark said they would investigate and call me later. They called me back to say after investigating the man knocked, so it was “ok” to which I replied he opened the door before I could say anything and the reply was “everyone has a different perception of time”. As a solo woman traveler, Mark’s indifference to the situation is unforgivable and he should be ashamed. There is absolutely no excuse for any staff entering a room without proper time and announcing why they are there. I’m thankful I was not changing or in the shower when the man entered.

Impeccablely designed hotel to match with 5 star service. Will be back and stay longer

Good location, close to several malls. This is the only advantage. I had breakfast during the stay and threw up in the middle of the breakfast. I’m not sure it’s the problem of the breakfast or personal issue but the taste was just average. When my mom approached to the lobby manager to make reservation for lunch, he promised the reservation was made. When we arrived at the restaurant the staff confirmed there was nothing for us. The design is good. But at the same time it’s kind of hard to clean thoroughly. I could still see dust on the in room decoration. During our stay, the building is being maintained and there were people cleaning glass walls. It caused intolerable noise from the very early morning to dawn. Don’t even try to take a nap from the moment they started maintenance. Overall, worst Park Hyatt I’ve ever stayed. Would definitely avoid this hotel next time in Guangzhou.

Great location, walkable to many commercial buildings and cultural landmarks. Friendly and helpful staffs. Clean and well appointed rooms.

Only a few minor comments if really want to improve what a already 5 stars hotel experience. 1) hotel signage is really small at ground level, not easy to spot if driving on Huaxia road. 2) bathroom soap dish is too small and tight to the soap size so it's difficult to pick up soap when it's wet. 3) I was asked by pool attendant to wear one of their head cap when swimming in the pool which is a bit odd and uncomfortable for someone who is not used to them and detracts from the relaxing experience. Guess it's a China cultural hygiene preference. But personally never encounter such request from 5 stars hotels in Europe or the States. Overall a 5 stars hotel with good trained staff in general still
