I had a great stay at the hotel! Henty (I think that's his name) was a great receptionist and very patient with me since I don't understand Spanish very well. He spoke English and helped me with my Spanish words. This was my first time in Santa Marta and I expected nothing less from a Hitlon property. They operate on excellence!

The hotel, room, and staff are very nice and the location is excellent but coffee for the "in-room" coffee maker was only complimentary for the first night. A little ridiculous for $250/night hotel. I couldnt even buy coffee packages for the room.
Every morning I had to get dressed and go down to the restaurant to get coffee to take back to my room before I could relax and enjoy the wonderful, ocean, beach and harbour view.

We arrived at 3H30PM and check-in was at 3PM and the room was not ready. We had to wait 30 minutes at the bar with our luggage. Additionally, we requested a wine opener to open our wine bottle and it was broken. We had to wait in the lobby for almost 1 hour before they found one. It is not the service expected from a Hilton.

Overall the hotel is fine but it’s a bit difficult to find parking and also the entrance of the property is most of the times blocked with cars. I was told also by the locals that is not a good area to walk around because it’s a bit unsafe.

we had a good experience at this hotel in Santa Marta. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, with beautiful views. The pool and restaurant were also highlights. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Santa Marta!

The breakfast is excellent! The exercise room is very basic and on the top floor… the AC cannot keep the room cool. Pool is small on the top floor but the ocean is just a 5 min walk. Room was excellent with beautiful ocean view.
