Staff very friendly

We spend 12 days there. It was our second visit. Pleasant place and staff. The only negative was when i asked for an hour extension for check out, from 11 to 12, the concierge would not guarantee it. After spending what we did for 12 days there you’d think that would have been easy. Poor customer service.

We really appreciated our room upgrade and it was in a fabulous position to attend a gig at Islington Assembly Hall. Really good amenities would definitely stay again.

Great location in Islington. Right in the centre. Nice large room. We had a problem with the air conditioning initially which was rectified very quickly. Will use again.

I tend to be very picky about where I stay and honestly I have zero complaints about Citadines. My room and the common areas were so clean, everything was fully stocked down to the tissues, check-in and check-out took seconds, and the mattress was quite frankly the comfiest place I’ve ever slept so if I ever find myself in Islington again, I know exactly where I’ll be staying! Worth the money, definitely.

Spacious calm studio in a great location Very clean apart from the cover of the sofa which was filthy as I discovered when I had to blot some water I'd spilt on it. A bit of a YWCA feel to this place but plenty of diversions nearby. Expensive, but I'd recommend this Citadines for a stay of more than a couple of days due to the convenience of having a kitchenette.

Location was excellent. Close to bars/restaurants but in a lovely safe, quiet street. The bed was super comfy. Shower good. Wifi great. Extremely happy with the kitchen facilities. Looked out the window to see a beautiful Japanese garden! ASR is the way to go now.

second stay - very consistent quality and cleanliness. the soap holder in our shower stall was loose and about to fall off - that was the only evidence of poor maintenance.

Superb property in a great location - very safe

Very nice accomodations in a great area of the city. Comfortable, quiet room. All personnel we encountered were very friendly . We have stayed twice.

I'm hesitant to give this hotel an excellent review, because whenever I give a good review the hotel price tends to go up. This is a great, hidden gem in London. It sits back from Upper Street in Islington, in a fun square with shops, restaurants and both a playhouse and movie theatre. This sounds loud, but it isn't. Islington is a charming area with a lot of personality. The room is very spacious and spotless and still looks brand new after a renovation in 2019. A big thing for me is the bed - so comfortable. I also love all of the light with the windows being basically the full width of the room. This hotel is not for someone who wants a lot of bells and whistles. If you are staying for a week, which I usually do, your room is serviced mid way through your week. There is no room service, and you can ask for a cart for your luggage. There is however, a laundry room and gym. The big, beautiful room, comes with a large closet and bathroom with cabinets and a shower that is actually enclosed - both of which you don't find often in London. The room also comes with a little kitchen. The place is surrounded by amazing food - just load the Deliveroo app and there's your room service. They do offer I nice light breakfast in the common area by the lobby, but I just stock up the kitchen with goodies from the nearby Sainsbury. The service is great. I want to call out Maria and Rianna at the front desk who were both very helpful during my stay.

If you want flavorless, character free but comfortable travel, this is a good choice. No charm, no sense of being in London—just about as bland as it gets. The Uber drivers never could fibs the place without calling the hotel. They always got lost trying to pick or drop me off. But the neighborhood is wonderful!

I really liked this hotel, it was quiet yet in a fantastic location. I only docked the stars as it was so hot in the hallways and the air con was so fiddly to get right. We had a few rooms to get ready for a wedding and it was uncomfortable. It was 23C outside so no need to have it super hot in the hotel.
