I booked a double room for a chilled out 1 night stay for my birthday for me and my partner . I was really impressed with the room it was spacious, modern, had a good size tv and the bed must be the comfiest bed iv ever slept in! The room was really cosy and had a very nice homely feel to it . The breakfast in the morning wasnt an unlimited buffet breakfast as advertised but i was told this was because the hotel was quiet at the time we stayed but they offered a made to order breakfast which was lovely and poasibly better than a buffet breakfast because all the items were cooked fresh and to how i liked it . My only negative i can say is that there are hundreds of signs around the carpark saying you must pay online and enter the carpark code which cost £15 for the duration of our stay and when we went to check in we were told to enter out car reg and it would only be £3 because we were staying in the hotel which i felt a bit ripped off about , there were nothing on the signs to say if your a guest of the hotel to pay at reception and there is even a few signs literally right at the door of the entrance saying to pay online . The guy at reception did say he would try to refund the amount on my invoice when we checked out but he wasnt there the following day and the person at the desk had no idea that we were told this the day before so we didnt get our money back so that naffed me off a bit but with that aside i would love to come and stay again

It’s our 2nd stay here (my daughter’s studying at Keele Uni).
We were greeted with a smile and check-in was efficient. On this trip we brought our family pet (Cockapoo) and at check-in Jonathan was excellent in making sure our needs were met - including setting up a table (away from the main restaurant- but still in a nice spot) for us to enjoy dinner.
The temperature outside is currently -3, but the hotel is warm and snug.
I love this hotel for its cleanliness, nice staff and lovely rooms. Super comfortable beds too.
I travel a lot with business and I’m a member of many clubs - so have plenty of choice in the Stoke area, but this is my favourite and have no hesitation in recommending to others. We’ll be back.

An excellent stay!! The whole staff were fantastic, but special mention to Gabriel and all the catering and front of house staff - outstanding!!!

The restaurant was excellent, the staff friendly and helpful, the bed comfortable. But we relied on their website and planned to have laundry done while we were there, but the promised laundry service did not exist. Also, it was booked as a double but there was only one chair!

Great hotel. Modern, convenient, good food in the restaurant. Good Wi-Fi and internet connectivity. Easy drive to Manchester airport. My first choice now when I’m in the country to visit family in the area. The Keele university campus is nice to walk around and there’s a grocery store within walking distance on campus.

An absolutely gorgeous hotel. It’s a delight from the time you walk in and meet the friendly staff to the time you sadly have to leave. Communal areas well light and spacious. Bedrooms were beautiful, simply set and effortlessly classy. The bathroom was perfect, the range of products were spot on and quite tasteful. Breakfast had a splendid array to choose from and definitely had something for everyone.
Staff were very polite, helpful and knowledgeable, very smartly dressed in their uniform.
From start to finish we enjoyed every second of our time here and wouldn’t hesitate in returning nor recommending it to anyone.

The hotel is nice and new, very clean. Checking in and out was no problem.
The shower was quite weak though and the room very warm, even with the heating switched off. The Aircon didn't really do anything apart from make a noise.
We were most disappointed with the breakfast though. The selection was good enough and the food tasty enough, but we prefer our full English breakfasts to be hot, or at least warmer than 'quite warm'.
The tables and chairs in the breakfast room are not right for the purpose. The chairs very low and the table normal height, so not a great eating position.
If you just need a bed for the night, it's fine, but for the cost we expected a higher calibre all round.

Lovely room comfortable bed lovely shower but we waited in a coffee shop for 10 mins on a Sunday morning which was open with signs outside but had no staff because they were all doing the breakfast in the hotel why did they bother to open the doors if they had no staff I wasn’t the only person waiting it was a waste of our time we left and went off site for our coffee one of the reasons I choose this location was because of the Starbucks coffee
