One night stay with dinner, bed, breakfast and spa access for partner’s birthday. Couldn’t fault it, we’ve stayed in many spa hotels up and down the country and this is the best yet. Staff professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. Stayed in a crescent room which was spacious, the bed was so comfortable, quality mattress and bedding. The spa was fitted out 4 years ago and was superb, especially enjoyed the ‘warm relax’ laconium beds and the roof top pool. We had additional treatments, my facial was excellent and so relaxing. Only word of caution is to check your bill carefully, I was charged £20 for an £8.50 glass of Prosecco but it was a genuine error that was rectified immediately with many apologies. All in all a great stay that exceeded expectations. Well done Buxton Crescent. We’ll be back!

We love it here, we are regulars and enjoy the wonderful spa facilities and the quaint town of Buxton, at least a couple times a year.

We stayed here as a couple in Jan. beautiful hotel in a gorgeous setting. Spa is excellent, lovely facilities and generally clean. Staff were all friendly. Couple of negatives in my opinion, the tiling in the thermal pool looks like it needs replacing. And only one robe for 3 days, it would be nice if these were replaced daily in the room as putting back on cold wet robe the next day isn’t pleasant. That’s just a couple of observations but the stay was relaxing, lovely breakfast with lots of choice and nice bar with Adam being a knowledgeable and friendly barman. Would def recommend and we will return.

A good experience this was our 3rd time. Lovely spa, one of the best. the food superb except the breakfast sausage a little overdone on both mornings. my only negative was the size of the room. If felt small, the bathroom was built into the room. The bed was not as wide as the one we sleep on at home. In previous rooms I have felt the size was better.

Absolutely loved the hotel and facilities. We had one issue which was our room was next to some air conditioning units which were extremely noisy all night.

The was no water in the taps! There’s not an awful lot more to say. While I believe it was an external issue, and water came back on for very short periods of time, staff were not proactive in helping or improving the situation.

Mixed ...lovely room very clean and comfortable ..spa has amazing facilities ...reception /check in awful ...cramped /sliw and very underwhelming..staff very indifferent...shame as this could be so much better and first impressions count ..the corridors are tired and parts of the hotel look tired. Breakfast was fine but really average and on par with an average chain hotel. Nice stay but definately not 5 star...Spa carries it to be honest. Enjoyed but wouldnt stay again ...much better hotels out there for half the price

Lovely spa. Really nice hotel and good room. Checkin was a problem as everyone came at 3 pm so there was a long queue. Staggering times would work much better. Cleanliness issue in rooftop disabled toilets. Chrome work in bad need of attention

We had an enjoyable stay at the Buxton Crescent Spa Hotel, but a few simple things took away slightly from the luxurious stay we Service: The staff were excellent—attentive and professional throughout our visit. However, we emailed the hotel with some queries when we made the booking, but our message was overlooked and never replied to. When we mentioned it at check-in, the front desk had no recollection of our email, which was slightly frustrating and not what we expected from a high-end establishment. Facilities: The spa facilities were impressive and contributed to a relaxing stay. That said, there’s room for improvement. Cleanliness could be better—there was a noticeable smell in some areas, reminiscent of body odour and feet, which detracted from the overall experience. Additionally, the availability of deck chairs and seating was limited, which made it difficult to find a spot during busy periods. Room: We opted for an executive room, but it didn’t feel like much of an upgrade. The linens, towels, and bathrobes all had an odd smell, and the reusable slippers didn’t appear clean. Another significant drawback was the limited hot water supply—during peak times, the shower and bath were only lukewarm, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard. Despite these issues, the hotel’s charm and unique setting made our stay enjoyable. With better attention to detail and a focus on guest communication, this could be a truly

Stunning building, with great facilities, friendly staff and top quality spa treatments. The attic room has a great layout, and provided a comfortable stay. The only issue we faced was with the robes provided, they felt a bit old and tired, not very comfortable and had some holes in them. Plus new robes weren’t provided daily so on day 2 the robes were a bit damp and less comfortable. Overall the stay was great but seems a bit expensive when calculating the stay and treatments.

Another great stay at the Ensana in Buxton. Always get the best night sleep here as the beds are so comfortable. The Spa is a great touch for guests staying over night. I’d highly recommend visiting the Greek Restaurant “Ithaca” that is a stones throw away from the hotel the food is amazing.

The hotel is fabulous. The Spa was amazing as was the room. Breakfast was a bit of a shambles. The service was slow, which made the food cold, I would have complained, but we didn't have time to wait.

We had a restful and indulgent stay at the Ensana Buxton Crescent. The spa was lovely, the staff couldn't do enough to help, and the room was very grand. My only (slight) criticism was the poached eggs at breakfast had obviously been under lights as they were overdone and the yolks hard. It was a shame as everything else had been absolutely perfect.
