Hux Hotel

The hotel is beautiful. Location is great and surprisingly quiet. The food in the hotel restaurant was amazing, would highly recommend having dinner during your stay. Staff were all lovely and very helpful.

We totally enjoyed all the aspects of The Hux. From the extremely helpful/friendly staff to the fabulous maximalist decor, everything was exceptional. We would definitely stay again and recommend!

Great place for a family.

Beautful room and hotel!

Great stay, great service in what was a wonderfully eccentric hotel.

Room requests were not accommodated & despite us being a family of 4, our rooms were not close together or quiet - the music from the hotel bar on Fri & Sat night was extremely loud in our 1st floor bedrooms until very late. Our room had no mirror other than the small bathroom mirror. The hairdryer would not reach to be able to see in the mirror, although they did provide an extension lead after we complained about the inconvenience. There were no instructions for the aircon control so we were always either too hot or too cold and it would turn on and off randomly during the night causing a lot of noise and the power lights are very bright! The hotel is in a great location, close to the high street shops, tube station & plenty of cafes and restaurants. All staff were polite & helpful. The decor in public areas is very decadent & unique but more thought should have been given to comfort & convenience in the bedrooms! Finally, we were surprised to see an unexpected charge on our final bill - watch out for this as they add a 5% ‘discretionary’ service fee. We don’t agree with this as we prefer to decide for ourselves whether or not a tip is deserved. They removed the charge with no fuss on request, but our feelings about our stay would have been more positive had we not had to deal with this.

Small rooms but efficient

This is our second time staying here. It’s our perfect choice for the Royal Albert Hall. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We love it’s style and decor and the rooms are beautifully decorated with good amenities. Will definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Very relaxed atmosphere. small doubles really are quite snug. However, the room had everything we needed for a great stay. Despite the busy location the room was quiet.

HUX has a wonderful urban vibe, with (literal) flashes of colour, in an intimate club-like setting. All staff were courteous and helpful, and the location could not be better for Hyde Park, and the food and shopping and tree-lined gardens of Kensington.

The animals are very unique and wonderful.

While the room seemed on the small side it was well appointed, comfortable, and quiet. The location is close to Jensington High Street station and lots of shops and restaurants. We appreciated the in room coffee and tea that was restocked each day. The waterfall shower head was perfect after long days of sightseeing. Staff were brilliant! Very friendly and it was clear that customer service was top of mind at all times. Also enjoyed the eclectic décor and the cocktails at the bar were delicious.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite with our kids. It was perfect as there are tons of shops & restaurants around. I was comfortable that they were safe exploring on their own. There were also tons of amenities in the suite that allowed them to heat up food etc. It was set up like an airbnb, but with full service staff. Great property for what we needed.

Really friendly staff, lovely clean Hotel. A very short walking distance to tube, shops and restaurants. Great location. The room was well decorated and had good facilities. Comfortable bed, staff couldn't of been more helpful. Will definitely be returning.

The only thing we really didn't like were all the 'stuffed' or plaster animals, including a giraffe! Not fun! Just childish. Spoils the look of the place.
