Lovely stay for the price. Added bonus of having a cosy pub on the doorstep with decent food for the price. Room was very clean and comfortable. Plenty of parking too. Surrounded by supermarkets. The only downside for me was the beds were only double, even though they were super comfortable. The staff in the pub were really friendly and helpful too.

I had gone out of my way to contact the property in advance to stipulate a twin room. On arrival after carrying some heavy bags up to my room on the upper floor I found that I had a double room.
Took a very long while to get through to anybody on the phone to discuss (there was no way I was traipsing over to reception with my heavy bags & I was working and had an online meeting coming up). The problem was resolved but took far to much hassle and repeated tries on the phone number for something that I had sorted out well in advance.
Staff and food in the pub were good. Breakfast delicious but ruined by a gentleman who thinks it's acceptable to have a hands free loud conversation on his phone after watching TV very loudly on his phone.
