Junior Suite wasn't as advertised. Pictures showed a nicely decorated room, which we didn't recieve. Room was unclean, popcorn the floor, dust everywhere, and questionable bedding. Walls were damaged, and poorly repaired (landlord specials), strange, offputting sewage water smell throughout the hotel. Fire alarm went off at 3am for 5 seconds, with no explanation or appology the next day. During checkout, reception didn't seem to care about our stay, seems we pulled the person away from a personal phone call. Wouldn't call it a spa hotel. There was a pool, and steam room that were ok, but the sauna wasn't hot. Would have been nice to have been preinformed that a £1 coin was required for the lockers, as the spa isn't quickly accessible from rooms during our visit.

Decent Stay but a Few Letdowns The hotel reception and main areas are really lovely – modern, clean, and well-kept, so first impressions were great. The room itself was also nice and comfortable. However, the corridors leading to the rooms felt quite outdated, and unfortunately, the fire doors were constantly slamming shut through the night, which didn’t make for the best sleep. The balcony view was a bit of a letdown, looking straight out onto a scruffy rooftop and industrial surroundings – not exactly relaxing. The spa was another mixed bag – to get there, you actually have to leave the hotel and walk around the outside, which we didn’t expect. We accidentally ended up by a building site after following the spa signs, so that was confusing. Once there, the spa was okay but missing a jacuzzi, and it’s a bit of a trek from the pool to the sauna. On the plus side, breakfast was lovely – fresh, tasty, and plenty of choice. Overall, not a bad stay, but a few things definitely took away from the experience.

Hotel is not up to usual Radisdon standards at all. Staff were great , hotel is tired and needing a serious refurbishment. Stayed in a junior suite , bed comfy but no fridge/mini bar in room, no vanity unit, no mirror in reaching distance of a plug to do hair. Stark room really not up to junior suite standard expected. Breakfast was terrible, arrived at 9.15 (45 mins before end of service) and they had run out of most foods. No pastries, only sliced bread for toast (supermarket sliced bread ) very driee up looking sliced cheese and cheap ham on continental breakfast selection. No option for cooked breakfasts other than what was sitting on hot plate. Very very disappointed

Quite frankly I did not stay I checked in and checked out I was absolutely horrified at the state of this place. It looks lovely online I was out in what they call a apartment but In fact more like a butlins shed in a car park 5 minutes walk away it felt super unsafe and was freezing it really was terrible. I went back to reception and two guys who checked in the same time as me were also at the front desk checking out too. I did not leave until the reception cancelled the booking and sent me an email stating I wouldn’t be charged and they had contacted hotels.com to issue my refund. What is more disappointing I have not heard from hotels.com after sending them 3 emails along with proof of email I would not be charged and I’d receive full refund. Terrible service all round and now taken this issue up with my credit card provider.

I regret to have to give this 3 stars because I think if I return in a year it'll be an excellent place to stay. It's clearly just been bought out by Radisson as it's not finished it's refurbishment. The furniture is all brand new, the lobby is great. Room was nice (although didn't have all the amenities advertised, and it was the most expensive room). The gym is state of the art. but the pool was not in use. You could use the steam room/sauna, but you had to walk out of the changing rooms and round a few corridors to access which would be fine except there were no robes or slippers provided. Also, I presume because occupancy is very low due to refurbishments, they were very low on staff. Often no one at the bar in the lounge and I had to walk into the separate restaurant to ask for a member of staff to serve me twice. I think it *will* be good. But right now, it isn't.

Lovely hotel with nightclub next door. Very convenient Only problem was water was cut off in the night and didn't get put back on. Nobody seemed to care. No apology. No compensation. It was very unhygienic and very inconvenient

Rebooked and paid. Despite receiving confirmation and reminders of stay they didn’t have the booking? So had to wait for them to sort. Sofa bed basicallly takes up whole area of lounge. Lift limited to 2 people. Room cleaning disgrace - emptied bin but didn’t clean cups or bathroom and then there are charges against my bank account even though I didn’t buy or use anything in the hotel. Also no fridge in rooms

Very slow reception to check in, pool closed until further notice ( doesn’t say this on website ) sauna broken , not hot water in room from sink , no signal for tv or internet, fire exits blocked with rubbish and drain pipes , rubbish all over the exterior areas and, food was average. Feels very disjointed and not what I expect from a hotel! Really disappointing as I stay in the area for work often! Fire doors don’t close, fire exit has chains on the door locking it ! Poor health and safety , stayed here 1 year ago and thought I would try after the refurb but still very poor. Previous emails to managers never got a reply !

I booked a junior suite. The room was really bare. No TV in the bedroom, only a bed, and wardrobe. The lounge had only a sofa and a desk. The hand soap was empty. Also the shower gel was empty too. I had to get out of the shower and find some in my case. The heating made a banging noise all night at random times. The door didn’t open and lock properly. I had a key card that was a waste of time as the door was broken. I had to back to reception and get a regular key to open another lock that had been added. When the door was locked it was not safe as it moved back and forth an inch. Very disappointed! Definitely not suite quality!

I got an adjoining room. Never asked for one but took it anyway. I felt i was lying next to the woman next door that continually coughed. I could easily hear what she was watching in her IPad and whose morning alarm went off 4 times between 5am and 6am. Oh and to top it off the hotel gave us another early morning fire alarm at 6am.
