I went to stay on new years eve to avoid large taxi prices. As soon as I stepped in the room I was hit with a disgusting smell of damp or sewers. I dropped my bag in the room and later returned at 2am. By 2:15am I was in a taxi home. The smell of the room was so bad I paid a large taxi fee to leave.

The room given to us should really have been out of order. The tiles around the shower on the floor were broken and kept together with a black tape. Had a shower and the water leak through the cracks. Smoke alarms in the middle of the night, it's the kettle they say. No it's not people coming in and out of the property and their cars there with a cigarette and a drink on hand. Won't go back again. Friendly reception staff, not much he could do.

Good value for money. Asked the guy on reception for a couple of things which never arrived which was a bit annoying, but it’s a good value budget hotel/lodge

Very clean , nice bed , & safe parking for car , very noisy with main road outside , but overall a nice visit to Morpeth

For the money, it’s top drawer 👍, clean room, comfy bed, good shower, decent WiFi, free parking, close to shops and town centre. Don’t be put off by the low rating reviews, if you expect 5 star luxury at 2 star prices then this won’t be for you, but it’s every bit as good as a travelodge, if not better

It is a budget hotel, and I was a bit dubious after reading some reviews so I only booked one night. My room is clean, comfy bed, tea and coffee, usb charging on the plug sockets, good size bathroom with a shower with good water pressure. Good size tv with the iPlayer etc apps. For the price, it’s excellent…I’ve extended my stay for another 3 nights and will be back again next week. Plenty shops and places to eat close by, on-site free parking, I can only assume that the customers leaving bad reviews expect £200 a night luxury for a third of the price

Well, where do I start… I get this is a low end hotel and you certainly get what you pay for however, I checked into the hotel late from travelling from seeing family in Scotland and was driving to Birmingham so had a little stopover in what I thought was a nice little B&B. I checked into the B&B at around 21:00 after a very long day, I got to the reception which was manned by a very young guy. I was then shown to the room where I walked into mould on the ceiling and all in the shower, an awful sewage smell in the bathroom, dust all over the skirting boards and behind the bed! Marks all over the walls and the curtains in the room. After a long day I was like a quick sleep in the room and then up and leave early in the morning, however when I pulled the creased duvet back on the bed, I found numerous stains and marks all over the bottom sheet like it had not been changed from the last person. Once I raised this with the receptionist, he said there is nothing he can do apart from change the sheet! So I agreed, and he came up with the sheet, where he said I’ll stay and help you with changing the sheet, I didn’t expect someone needing me to help change a sheet in the B&B when it should of been before I even arrived, once this had been changed, I got into bed ready to go to sleep until I started hearing banging and some clearly having sex which is fine do what you need to do but the walls are paper thin I could hear every bit of detail on what they was doing or should I say what

Larger room than expected, spacious and clean bathroom, fridge in room, tea and coffee with plenty of sachets of tea, coffee and milk.

No toilet seat in the lobby carpet on the stairs worn out room needs up to be redecorated toilet seat in the bathroom didn’t fit properly

Did not like anything. Felt like a homeless shelter / hostel.

The staff were friendly and obliging. My room was clean and tea and coffee and toiletries were provided.

No towels in room very basic and dated

Clean, simple room with working amenities! Good for a quick stay but wouldn’t stay linger than 1 night due to size of the room.

The room was clean and tidy, but no mirrow in the room. The bathroom was not on suite. Everytime you wanted to use the bathroom u had to leave the room unlock the bathroom. Other than that it was fine.

Good position External bathroom and toilet!

Don't be put off by the slightly tatty outside, the rooms are well equipped and comfortable, and the location couldn't be more convenient for the town centre. Good value for money, great for an overnight en route

It was very noisy almost all night, felt like sleep on the pavement. Only Wifi was good, overall not very pleasant experience

It was the most horrendous place to stay . The noise was awful banging doors going on until 12-45 in the night. People banging upstairs at 4 o’clock in the morning no consideration for other people at all . A place I would definitely not recommend

Great value for money and acceptable daily service i'd go there again.
