This hotel is in an excellent location, next to a vibrant shopping/dining boulevard for walking and only trams. The room size is a bit smaller but that's expected in France. The breakfast spread was awesome with lots of pastries and other options. Will definitely stay again.

The property is in terrible shape. Stains on carpets, scratched, dirty furniture, ceiling tiles missing. The staff do a good job cleaning, it is just the overall decrepit state of the property. The hotel is in a noisy part of town, with windows overlooking a side street populated with the homeless and with smell from the garbage dumpsters sometimes perceptible in the room. Screams in the middle of the night, both from inside the hotel as well as from the street. The price for this hotel is very high given its state and it is not competitive for Nice. Beware, they have a few rooms on the other side of the hotel which are in better shape and overlook the front of the hotel (people have probably left good reviews for these). This is the first time I have written a review for a hotel, but I thought I need to write it given the state of this property and the prices charged.

Love this hotel, the staff is so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for walking to everything, beach or old town. The hotel is very clean and in good shape Loved it, we had biiked four nights and extended our 4 nights to 7 nights

We lovwd staying here. Staff are all so so nice and helpfu, Ana, Fadha, Mariah, Sorayah and Natasha. Thabk you so much for everything. Hotel is very clean and pretty. Just remember the room size is not your typical american hotel room but managable lol. Location is amazing close to everything. 10 min walk to train station. 15 min walk to the beach. All the shopes and gallerie Lafayette in walkable 5 to 10 min distance. Perfect overall. Defenetly recommended place to stay in Nice. Such a beautiful city 😍

It's a nice hotel in a good location. We had a room with balcony which was a nice addition. There is a big supermarket right across. There is a breakfast option for an extra fee (lots of options). Parking is tiny (6 cars) and hard to get into. There is a street parking (Sunday is free although they old us something different at the reception). We asked them for a thermometer and they had one which was nice. One thing I did not like is internet -- reception was absolutely terrible. When we were moving out, I mentioned it and was told that I should have reported it and they do have another backup to use. Too bad I did not know about it the whole week that we stayed there.

Really nice hotel at the rate we paid. You can walk pretty much anywhere from it. Grocery store across the street, and countless cafés and restaurants around every corner. And even a comic book store close by for me.

The property needed to be cleaned up and updated. The staff was super helpful and very friendly. The price was right, the location was right, but the room needed upgrades.

Very friendly staff, great location. We got a fairly big room for our family, which was great. Things smelled a bit moldy because the shower had clearly leaked into the hall carpet before we arrived. It was very clean however (smell notwithstanding). Overall a very pleasant place to stay. Short walk to the beach

Staff was awesome in handling all our requests. Stay was comfortable and the beds were very cozy. If you are traveling by car, parking may be a problem, only few spots available in front of the hotel, otherwise it's street parking or underground city garage. Other than that, the stay was comfortable and we we well cared for.

An excellent place to stay on our short 3 night visit to beautiful nice. Very friendly and efficient front desk staff. Very welcoming and helpful staff in the breakfast room. Comfortable room (bit small) Great shower and good sized bathroom. The hotel was in a great location off the main shopping street and within walking distance to airport train, city tram, bars, restaurants & shops.

This property was awesome! Perfect location, a bit loud at nights but the connivence made it worth it! The staff was amazing, so nice & accommodating always! Would definitely stay again.

Really good location for train station but also a short walk from the beach. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a decent selection. I managed to get one of the 6 parking spaces which was ideal - although, they will direct you to alternative parking if it is full. I did find the bed a bit hard - other than that a really good stay.

Centrally located with a totally amazing service. The room is clean the bed really comfortable and the balcony is the top!

Best Western Hôtel Lakmi Nice was absolutely the perfect choice for my husband and my 4-night stay in Nice. We wanted somewhere walkable to the Nice-Ville train station as well as the Promenade des Anglais and we chose this hotel for a combination of location, room choices, and price. The hotel is also an easy tram ride from the airport and right by all the other metro options and we felt safe in the area even late at night. The entire staff was extremely nice, helpful, and professional and our room couldn’t have been more comfortable. We opted for a room with an outside balcony and enjoyed a glass of wine in the evenings while watching the activity below. We appreciated the questionnaire we received in advance of our arrival from Sarah Jeanroy asking if there was anything she could help us with or arrange for during our stay. She sent us a list of restaurants based on our preferences which we put to good use. It was a nice touch. After spending our days exploring Nice and taking various day trips on the train, we always looked forward to settling into our comfortable room for an excellent night’s sleep. Beware that there is a tram line right outside of the hotel which could be heard in our room, but the tram doesn’t run all night and the windows are double-paned, so the tram bell didn’t bother us. Remember, you’re in the city with city noises, but everything is so convenient and it’s part of the experience. We were thrilled with Hôtel Lakmi and would absolutely stay

After our 12 day cruise, my husband and I had an overnight stay before flying back home to the U.S. The staff was amazingly helpful. The hotel was just a few blocks from the promenade and only a block from the tram we took to the airport. We were able to buy our tram tickets from the front desk at face value with no surcharge. This was a great convenience and a very nice touch. The room was clean and comfortable with a cute balcony. The only thing I would change is the pillows. They were square, small, and a bit flat. That was a very minor note for an otherwise perfect stay. Thanks again for the great stay and very helpful staff!
