Be careful I stayed in the Romeo and Juliet room. In the spring it may be nice but the price is high. The hotel is located very far from anything which can be nice but there are no staff at night no phone no shower no ac their living area is shared with other rooms as well. I attempted to leave early at 7 the next day there was no staff to talk to and they refused to give me my money back for the days following that I wasn’t there for.

We did a private tour at the vineyard, setup by our wonderful hotel, Hotel Martinez. Just the most incredible experience. It was definitely pricey, but it was so nice to be treated this way. The lunch at Chez Jeannette was mind blowing, with the chef having 2 Michelin stars. For 69€, it can’t be beat (but it was included in our VIP tour). I have eaten at many high end restaurants around the world, and the service and quality of ingredients was superb. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. The winery has so much history, and started off as a military encampment by the knight’s Templar. We tried many different wines during the tour, provided by our excellent guide Eloise, and really enjoyed the subtle differences between the different types of rosé. But perhaps the most special part was when she took us down into the private cellar and opened a vintage 2014 bottle of rouge, from the year my wife and I first met, to celebrate our honeymoon. Just an overall stellar experience and we can’t wait to find this wine in the states! Thank you for making this stop on our journey so memorable.

The place is amazing, a lot of multiple activities can be done, also for little kids. The golf cart ride within the vineyards with the map and the history eplained was amazing. Nonetheless our rating is 1 star because of the bad experience had at the Lou Bistrot. We were thrown out with 2 little kids at lunch time of a very quiet day because we didn't reserve a table (my activity ended at 12.30am, so obviously lunch time - so if I need to book a table for lunch - please tell this to me when I book! don't throw me away if I don't reserve. Therefore we couldn't even taste the wines and purchase some bottles, ruining the overall experience

We stayed here for 1 night and wish we had stayed longer. It is really beautiful! We stayed in the farmhouse on the grounds which has a pool. Would really recommend the vineyard tour and tasting so you can appreciate the history of the vineyard and the wine. Tour available in English. Plan extra time so you can wander around the grounds to look at the modern art collection (booklet available to describe the art). 4star for location because not really accessible without a car. Do not rely on taxis!

A fantastic way to spend an afternoon. A couple of great walks whilst viewing an exceptional modern art collection. After the walk we were very well looked after by Clement who explained the history of the place whilst we tasted a number of their wines. All the staff were friendly and clearly passionate about wine. We will return one day I'm sure.
