A really good stayover with a little luxury on our GR5 trip. Great half pension dinner and a very good breakfast. Staff was very friendly and had good advice on the path ahead. Pool was a plus for the tired wanderers 👍

We were booked in to the hotel by a travel agency specialised in winter walking trips. We really enjoyed staying here. The rooms have huge south-facing windows with views of the mountains. We were extremely lucky with the weather and had sun streaming in in the afternoons. The staff were amazingly friendly. The food was excellent. Breakfast was wonderful with high quality butter (you can taste the difference!), bread & fresh eggs. The dinners were three course meals each of which was imaginative, delicious and relatively healthy. We loved the place! If you were wandering around with an empty thermos flask they would whisk it away to fill it with hot water before you could say "Excuse me!" 😀 It's next door to a ski lift and is along the route of a skibus that can take you another 2km up the valley.

We stayed here for 4 nights, going for hikes in the surrounding mountains during the day. It was a really superb location in all respects. The rooms were very comfortable, breakfasts were delicious and dinners definitely lived up to the 4 stars they have earned. Service was always attentive and friendly. We always had the “plat du jour”, which was wonderfully varied from day to day and very reasonably priced, compared to other area restaurants of lesser quality. We would return eagerly to enjoy the efforts of Arnaud and his wonderful team!

Extremely overpriced hotel. On arrival, we were told we'd have to pay a supplement to use the pool if we didn't eat at the restaurant, which was nowhere near worth the high prices it charged. (We weren't charged for using the pool in the end, but it started us off on the wrong foot.) There was black mould in our shower. The hotel wasn't restful at all, there were children loudly screaming outside our window from dawn til dusk. Overall we were really disappointed. The area is wonderful though!

Excellent price-quality ratio. Perfect cleanliness everywhere. I loved the lobby and the bathroom. Very friendly stuff. The only thing that was so and so was the food , but this was only because it was the last day the hotel is open, but per total great experience. We gonna return.
