It is RIGHT BESIDE Brasserie Georges so if you're in Lyon to eat (which we were), this is the hotel for you! We had dinner next door on 3 of our nights because the food was so delicious and the service was so nice. The hotel itself was very clean with helpful staff and we loved their water refill station which we used quite a lot on the way out for walks around town and just before bed. It is not far from Place Belacour and it's right next to a major train station so transportation from there is no problem.

When we arrived, we were first incredibly excited about the location, size of the room (Suite) & the friendliness of the staff. However, when we returned home from dinner, we found a colony of ants in our room, around the walls behind the mirror and desk. We immediately tried to kill as many as possible, & went to the front desk to see if we could change rooms. The night staff at first would not believe we had ants, and immediately blamed us for leaving the window open (but we were on the sixth floor, & they would later agree that the window likely was not the issue). He only believed us when we showed ants in the trash, but told us it isn't a problem because ants are not dangerous. We had to spend the night in the room, hopeful that the ants would not get into our beds or luggage. The second day, we woke up to more ants, & when we spoke to the staff in the morning, they were immediately much nicer & sent someone up immediately to take a look. They agreed that they needed to take care of this immediately, and that they would switch rooms for us. When they switched our rooms, they moved us next door to our original room, and this time the ants were on the bed and nightstand. So, we ended up needing to move back to the first room we were in, where we still found ants, but in the living room area. The next day they had to get rid of those ants. The Manager & Cleaning Lady were very polite, but this was a lot to pay for a room that was infested with ants for half of our stay.

Great hotel next to Lyon Perrache, doesn't look pretty the area outside, but safe and convenient.

Good for an overnight stay. Noisy AC and very very loud when people haul bags along the corridors.

A great stay for my family of 5 was passing through Lyon. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff The room was fantastic and very nicely laid out for our family of 5 Would definitely stay again

Good hotel, reasonably priced in convenient location just a short walk to main tourist areas. Across street from a metro. Easy to find if driving into Lyon. Reading the reviews there were some complaints about parking but I found it pretty easy, literally across the street. No issue at all and front desk will let you pay for the parking when you check out so that you dont need to do it when you drive out.

Our first time at an IBIS hotel, we visited Lyon for the Rugby World Cup. The hotel is conveniently located at the beginning of the Metro line that takes you to the stadium, so you can get a seat on match days. The breakfast is excellent but expensive. Just have a walk around and find yourself a patisserie. Lyon is a beautiful city blessed with excellent public transport and lots of good eating.

Nice hotel next to a great restaurant and very close to the station

Not a great location. We arrived later at night and my husband had to walk through a homeless encampment after he parked the car quite far away. There is a strange window into the bathroom so not a lot of privacy.

Other than the air conditioning not cooling the room, the hotel was amazing. Everything from the staff, the room, and even the bar. Just incredible.

Clean and near the train station

Great hotel with friendly staff who couldnt do enough for you. Breakfast was really good and at a good price. Central to main shopping areas as well as bars and restaurants. The area by the station is a little off putting. Best way into town is turn left out hitel and then take walkway by car no-entry sign as shown in picture.
