This was my 3rd stay and I will always return there on my trips to Ludwigsburg to visit family.
Staff, rooms, amenities and restaurant are all top notch. Easy walk to trains, shops and the Schloss.

This stay was great, we were only here for one night for an event in Stuttgart before travelling back to Essen but it was perfect for what we needed. We arrived early and checked in early, sat in the lovely bar downstairs before heading into the city. Easy transport links from the city out to the hotel made this stay even better. If ever planning a trip to Stuttgart again, we would definitely consider staying here in Ludwigsburg and travelling in and out.

Very unique building. Area is nice and really in a great spot. AC didn’t seem to work but it is cool outside so not an issue. There was a red stain on one of the duvet covers. Tried calling reception about it but no answer. Didn’t bother me much. Breakfast was really nice but a little pricey.

Was charged 14 euro for parking. Hotel page on hotels.com said free parking for gold members, which is why I booked the hotel. Also air conditioning did not work. It just blew warm air it did not have any cooling function even though I turned the control to its coldest setting. The fridge was like an oven inside, it also did not work. Could be a perfect hotel but was ruined by these three failures.

The property was fine, as usual. However, we were let down by Expedia, who offerred the best price. On booking we booked breakfast and the price increased accordingly. On check-in at the Nestor, our breakfast was NOT booked and moreover, the room was well below the Nestor's usual high standards. We will NEVER again use Expedia.

We went there for pumpkin festival and a say in Stuttgart. We arrived several hours early but they allowed us in our room right away. We parked at the hotel and took the train into Stuttgart. Easy walking to public transportation. This is our go to hotel when we want a weekend getaway to Stuttgart

This was my second stay at the Ludwigsburg Nestor. I stay here when I come to Germany to visit family.
The Nestor always delivers high quality at affordable prices. Comfortable rooms. Attentive staff. Incredible food.
If you’re planning to see the palace and gardens this is the best location. You can easily walk there via the path behind the hotel. It’s a beautiful walk with many photo opportunities.

This hotel is in a historic building but is thoroughly modern in comfort and amenities. I have stayed here many times and love the hotel. It's just a short walk to the city center for shopping and dining, and to the Baroque palace and gardens a few blocks away. The buffet breakfast is a real treat.
