Very convenient, located between the railway station and old town. Twenty-minute walk to the Hanseatic Museum, which is fascinating. American-style hotel w friendly, helpful staff.

This property was very clean and the staff were great. The hotel is out dated. No air conditioning and no usb ports.

The hotel met all our expectations

The room was not ready upon check in and there are no people at the property. Also Hotels.com could not reach the hotel so they moved us to a new hotel.

Nice room but the overall hotel smells like an ashtray, largely thanks to the 24/7 casino that is attached to the lobby.

Very clean. Spacious room. However, the interior was outdated. Especially the bathroom.

Good location. Staff failed to arrange rooms next to each other after fumbling with internal hotel logistics and communication. Great breakfast. Who thought that transparent glass on bathroom door might be a good idea?

Breakfast was amazing. They even had some japanese Cup Noodles available. Location is perfect to walk to the old city and it is nice place to stay when you are in Lubeck.

The room was clean and location is good. But the view from the room was directly facing a white wall and the lack of a fridge in the room was really a disappointment. Although it is an economy room, a 4 star hotel room should have at least a fridge.

We had a suite with a nice river view. The room itself wasn't as spacious as on the pictures however. Overall the room itself looked beautiful. You could see the toilet from most of the room though. There was no way to cover the view into the bathroom. The left side of the bed was so worn out that I had to sleep on the small couch. The biggest problem was the cleanliness. My black socks were white after shortly walking on the carpet. Everything was very dusty, even the bed cover. The person I travelled with had an allergy and thus had heavy problems breathing at night. Even the toilet wasn't properly cleaned. I travel a lot and this was the first time I ever had problems with the cleanliness of a hotel room. The television wasn't working properly as it wasn't responsive and half of the programmes didn't work at all. There was no air conditioning. Because there was no fresh air in the room when we arrived, we had to open the windows at night and let the cold air in. There was no hot water boiler nor free water in the room. A hot water boiler could be ordered with a tea set at the reception. The staff was in general very friendly and helpful. At check-out we were also assured our complaints would have been noted. Nevertheless the given circumstances and especially the fact that the room was not properly cleaned were simply unacceptable, especially for a 4-star-hotel at the given price.

The hotel was ok. My husbands and I, we Were very Happy to stay there. The location was perfect. everything was very close to de center.

Excellent location, great restaurant, room was comfortable apart from not having coffee making facilities.
