Far Out Hotel & Spa

As soon as I stepped in I saw a big giant cockroach on my bed. Big turned off. Did not like this property

Good location if you don’t mind taking the bus into Chora or walking down to the beach. My recommendation is to rent an ATV if you stay here. Incredible view and the employees were very kind. My only complaints would be that the bathroom smelt like sewage from time to time, probably a plumbing issue. And they also hit you with a €3 a day charge at the end of your stay. 4/5

had a bad experience at checkout with staff, they made it so difficult to pay for certain charges would only accept cash for certain things was frustrating because we had to be at the port for a certain time and they made it the most inconvenient experience when we didn’t have cash on us. (Told us we could pay card originally)

I had a truly great stay at the Far Out Hotel and Spa. The staff were very nice and helpful. I stayed in one of the suites overlooking the ocean and it was beautiful. The room was clean, AC was great, beds were comfortable. The pool area was also very nice, however I preferred the beach to the pool as there were limited spots. Would definitely stay again!

Rooms were clean, and views were stunning. Transportation was available to/from the port for us. Would stay again when visiting!

Great hotel! Nice location, only 5 min from the beach and 5-10 min by bus from Chora. The hotel offers amazing views of mylopotas beach and surrounding areas.

Staff very friendly & helpful with things to do around the area, helped with bags, arranged transportation, let me check in as soon ASAP, free breakfast, gorgeous view, clean rooms. 10/10 would stay here again

Really nice hotel, it was clean and comfortable. Staff was great and very helpful with directions and recommendations.

Lovely property but a lot of stairs. No elevator and no porters so it can be a tough gig carrying heavy luggage up 70 stairs. There are No ice machines . Beautiful view from superior room and walkable to the beach which was far better and less chaotic than those in Mykonos. Over foil value for the price.

I found the hotel was far out, hence the name… it’s like a 30 minute walk to the city and 20 to the beach.. but it’s on a hill so you’re walking up and down hills. I ended up renting a quad for my stay which worked well and made it a lot easier to get around Nice room with a beautiful view, check in was easy and cleaners cleaned my room daily. Nice Greek salad I ordered from the restaurant it was delicious. The pool view is amazing, overlooking the beach. Loved the shuttle service for 5 euros extra each way to and from the port, super convenient and easy. A few things made my stay less enjoyable, the air conditioner didn’t, I left my key in the power slot for 3 hours while I went out with the air conditioner on, when I got back my room was so hot that it was cooler outside of my room, I called reception he came to fix it but I woke up plenty of times in sweat because it was so hot. The pool was pretty cold, more cold then the beach water. The barman at the pool bar has very poor customer service and charges different prices that are on the menu, I asked for a house wine a 5 euro and he charged me 7 because he didn’t have anymore house and it’s a different bottle, I wouldn’t have had a problem if he would’ve told me before but he didn’t and he doesn’t let you drink alcohol other then that what’s purchased at the bar that was the only major unpleasant experience I had here. The reception workers are very nice but seemed lost at times. all in all, I probably wouldn’t stay here

Great location in Ios with a ferry transfer to get you there! Pool was nice, and about a 5 minute walk to the beach! Room itself was great, with an amazing balcony and view of the ocean. Would definitely come back to this hotel! Breakfast was great too, and the lady serving breakfast was incredible and so nice!
