We spent 2 nights here over new years. The check in was easy and location is very convenient for walking around the city. No issues getting parking. The apartment is quite cozy. The only complaint we had was the pull out sofa. If as very uncomfortable and hard for my children to sleep on. Maybe would be ok for a smaller child but that would be it. Other than that we had a great stay

Great stay. Very convenient and close to all activities. Parking can be a hassle as there is no dedicated spot - people living around the building seem a bit testy about renters. Our entry code was sent to us ahead of time but was not ‘initiated’ so did not work - had to call and get a new one impromptu. A bit unexpected.

This was a very central location which made walking very easy to shop and visit different local points of interest. The locks on the front door and the apartment door were very difficult and frustrating to operate which caused us considerable anxiety. When we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the restroom and no light above the kitchen area. Communication was difficult because it was hard to find the correct email address for the host. This place was OK in a pinch and rather expensive.

This would have been a great stay— the apartment was well appointed and in a very walkable part of the city. But I was traveling alone and in the morning someone typed in the key code to the room and started to open the door. I came to the door and said “who is it?” But the person never answered and dashed down th hallway and exited the building. This made me feel pretty unsafe there and unsafe leaving my things in the room when I went out. If it was staff then I think it’s important they identify themselves to guests if there’s a mistaken entry, and if not staff then I think the door codes are not very secure which is concerning. Ultimately this ruined my stay and I would not stay there again.

Location and access were good. A couple of things that bothered us were that I had inadvertently booked a basement unit. Unit was fine, but had no WiFi through thick concrete walls. Small unit that we had hoped to make our own meals in, but lack of a microwave was unfortunate. We were moved to a first floor unit after complaining about WiFi service. Maybe time will help, but a couple of other things would be nice, such as towel rack in bath, (heated towel rack is nice but no place for towels while taking a shower), a frying pan would also be nice. Clean modern units, priced reasonably.

Fantastic location, clean and modern room and facilities. Nice kichenette and some supplies to help you out should you want to cook (pots, bowls, some oil and salt and pepper). Helpful, since the food prices in Reykjavik are so high. Could have used some counter space in the bathroom by the sink, but overall we really enjoyed our stay.

It was clean, comfortable beds, good shower and quiet. It needs a few more signs as to how to lock the door, how the tv works and some hooks in the bathroom. The wifi rarely worked. Since there is no front desk it’s hard to find suitcase storage for your time before your flight.

There wasn’t much more we could ask for. The property was so well heated - definitely a warm welcome back after long days out in the cold temperatures and snow!
