Hotel AK International

This experience was not good to staying this hotel. But the service staff they are giving good Service

Very good value, basic but clean Walking distance to the main sights

We checked in around 11PM and it was quite fast. The little cafe on the side was quite cluttered and there seemed to be people hanging about. It was fine. Got up to our room and we were pretty shocked. The pictures online make them look a lot bigger than they are in person. We dealt with it. Went outside and noticed a couple of rats (which is fine being in a city) what we did not expect is the rats to be scurrying in the walls and ceilings which sounded like they were coming through. We told the staff and a member of the hotel staff heard and proceeded to bang on the room wall and say “there you go all gone” we had to sleep with the light on from that point. It was difficult with the language barrier at first (which is fine) but we knew we could not stay there and left the next day. Given their dues, they did agree to refund 2 night stays and they couldn’t put us in another room as it was full.

The location of the hotel is amazing, but the rooms are terrible and noisy. The price for the rooms are not worth it and tbe photos do not represent the actual room itself.

They don't have any facility for brkfst,lunch n dinner.they don't have fridge either.its too hot in mumbai n they dont even have mini fridge inside the room...n they even dont have a pot to heat a water n make a coffee...it was horrible to stay...

How does this hotel rate 3.5 stars and the adjacent Lord's Hotel only 3? I couldn't face staying any longer after the first of three nights and checked out, losing the money I had prepaid. Next door is a much better hotel. The list of amenities for AK says they have a restaurant (they don't) and English breakfast is available for a surcharge (when I enquired they offered only to get takeaway from a nearby Indian restaurant). The room was basic to say the least. Definitely not recommended in an area where there is plenty of choice.

The property is in bas shape, hotel seems very sketchy for family stay, services are in bad shape. Room in general was bad. Location was perfect. Close to all major locations.

Pros: staff was kind and helpful. Also the location is great Cons: the rooms aren't thoroughly cleaned, there is a bad smell all the time. The cigarette smoke filters into the rooms and can't be ventilated away. Staff is kind but noisy in the evenings. The price was reasonable but it's just not worth it

This was an absolutely exceptional Hotel on evert level. All the guys that worked there were exceptional

I do not understand how on earth this could possibly be considered a 3.5 star hotel

Congested, Room was not cleaned, Hole in Matresses, Towels not cleaned. Room was filled with the smoking smell, don't know where it was coming from. + were Bathroom was clean Hot water was available AC was good Was closed to tourist spots Overall 1 out of 5

Bad hotel, awful bathroom. Not much in the way of provisions, uncomfortable bed. Staff insisted on tips too. Would recommend you spend a bit more and stay elsewhere if you can afford to

conveniently located, IMMACULATELY kept, very comfy rooms w/ a/c and great beds. SO much noise from the local car honking but but hotel can't do anything about that. I'd DEF stay here again!!!!!!!

Arrived early to drop bags but needed bathroom and told no bathroom available, only in rooms this is the first hotel I have ever heard of not having toilet other than in rooms.Room are very small wont stay here again.

Check in smooth and given a room at the end of the corridor on the ground floor. When you walk in the smell is unbearable! However, just throw out the air freshener balls that they put in the bathroom and all is good! The bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was good air con and a ceiling fan. The room felt a little ‘damp’ sometimes but a blast of the aircon sorted this out. Also, the room was very dusty, eg on top of all the tables and light switches. This didn’t affect us but would be a nice touch if they cared a little more perhaps. There was quite a bit of noise from the reception area, when the staff sit watching the tv it would be an idea to turn it down a notch! The location was walking distance from all the main attractions and esp good for pick up for a shantaram tour!

The bathroom and sink are extremely small. we stayed in a room for 2 days, nobody came for cleaning. very small rooms.

The only thing good about the hotel is the staff there. All are good. Room cleanliness not good. Missing very basic amneties in room. I wont book this property again.

My five day stay was perfect,wifi was excellent, excellent parsi cafe nearby, train stations, shopping all nearby, great staff.

My room was assigned which was on the ground floor of the hotel. Room was absolutly humid but i didn't complain regarding this. Air Conditoner wasn't working so i had to tell the staff. Staff wasn't helpful at all. After an hour or so the manager came to help out, he couldn't do much for 20~30minutes. I asked him for a change of room and he claimed that there was no room. And after 10minutes he told me that he will give me a new room (Magic??). New room was decent. It was more spacious as well. Location is the best part about this hotel. Plus the manager talked to me like i am his friend. Which was not pleasent at all. The corridor of hotel was extremely noisy (Kid screaming with staffs talking loudly) at 7:00 in the morning which disgusted me. If you are just looking for a hotel with decent location this place is fine. But i would never visit this hotel again.
