Smyle inn was absolutely the best choice for my stay in Delhi. All employees are friendly kind and very helpful!! They tried their best at all times to fulfill all our needs and go beyond during our stay. They also provide extra services like car transfers to make your travel easier. Great location in the middle of the main bazaar road, 10 mins to the metro and train station. Rooms are large and okay to India standards. Seems to be the choice of many internationals. They have a lovely rooftop where breakfast is served every morning. Breakfast team is great! Special thanks to Amitji , Aliji, Rahji, Mohanji and Muksji - for your friendliness kindness and warm smiles.

Wish I had stayed somewhere else, it was a disappointment. Nothing horrible or unsafe, just rude staff and mediocre everything. The area is nice, though. The beds are comfortable enough. The water gets warm (not hot) and only lasts 5 min. THE WIFI DOES NOT WORK (at least in the building I was in). Breakfast was disappointing. I paid for a nicer room, and don’t feel like I really got anything by doing that. If you’re looking for something simple and don’t need wifi, this place will work. Wish I could have had a more pleasant last stay in India.

My experience is worst as there is only a 5 feet road in front of hotel and there are poorly maintained public toilets in the beginning of the road which smells horrible. I would not recommend this hotel for family,

Friendly, helpful and accommodating staff. Convenient location in a very lively part of New Delhi. Some say the area is unsafe but we did not encounter problems. Just do not engage with or otherwise encourage any touts or other solicitors who may approach you. Stayed in a very basic double room which was adequate but not luxurious.

This place was a great deal for the price in Paharganj. It's India, so everything is worn in, but was clean and worked properly. If you're looking for value and proximity, this is the place. If it's your first time in India, I'd recommend getting a ride there, as it could be hard to find on your own (it's down an alley). Breakfast was small, but good, and usually consisted of juice, a dessert, some sort of fruit, and various toasts (just enough to get you to lunch). Staff was very attentive and friendly.

The hotel staff was great and the hotel was fine, the rooms are far smaller than they look with the shower over the top of the toilet. You have to ring reception and ask if they can make the shower hot and give it 10 minutes every time you use it and same goes for the air conditioning which was pointless as even when it was on the room was still boiling I’m 99% sure there air conditioning doesn’t work. Which an English man in India defo needed!!

This is not a four or five star hotel; it is, instead, a very inexpensive place to stay in beautiful Delhi, India. Part of it is a youth hostel and the rest is a regular hotel, and while there are no frills, it is exactly what they advertise: a place to shower, sleep, and relax after a day of sightseeing, for people who do not want to spend a fortune on accommodations. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace, they offer a free, basic breakfast daily, the rooms are air conditioned, and they have probably the MOST helpful hotel staff I have ever encountered. (Hey, Harish, they ALL deserve a raise - they are the best part of your establishment!) They also offer a professional who will book guided tours for you, extremely inexpensive ones, even on the same day. The tours were terrific, in a private, air conditioned car with driver. We were very pleased with our stay!

Personally, it was a nice stay for me at SmyleInn, despite the room provided me was not the room shown at the booking. The room which I was given is somewhat smaller and without chair inside it. Area is crowded, but I seriously enjoyed it as we go for traveling in other country to get different experiences in the aspects of societal and cultural. Specially Mr. Alam at reception is unlike many others, he is a good and genuine person with great hospitality. Hopefully, SmyleInn management will take a follow up actions to give customer requested room instead of what hotel needs to provide him/her, or unless the real room must be shown at the booking. But that was not a big issue for me as the room provided me was somewhat OK. All in all, I recommend SmyleInn for travelers without any hesitation. Best regards, Amila (Sri Lanka)
