They "upgraded" me to a "renovated" and had to insist on being "downgraded" to my original room in the older, more traditional style which I liked much more!

The team at the Taj was very attentive! Most helpful were Sharath and Dominic Gobi is a very talented and hospitable chef with a great smile Kaisa, Venu and Souvik were at the ready to get us what we needed. We had an enjoyable time in the lounge with Leenus - very relaxing! Our room was always spic and span and we never wanted for bottled water. Concierge was super helpful and the property has lots of choices for food and relaxation. It is well laid out. Even when it's raining. Need more tables and chairs at the pool. Sometimes it is nice to sit by the pool to discuss business without swimming or having to get on a lounge chair.
