Great hospitality, neatness, nice ambience with daily live classical music and great food options. Convenient transportation arrangements. Excellent staff starting from the greeting staff at the door, staff at the reception, room service staff, drivers and staff at the airport. Whole experience was better than most of the hotels I stayed in to date.

To be honest, I would say it's a best hotel. Everything was good, better than I expected. Breakfast was amazing.

It was an wonderful stay at Leela.. Check in was quick, room was spacious and this is one of the best property in Chennai.

I was given a non-smoking room in the smoking floor. Although the room wasn’t too bad, the lobby smelled terrible with smoke. Being allergic to smoke I had a tough time with that

We stayed there for a night, had an excellent experience. Friendly and alert staff with well maintained facilities.

As a member of thr hotel industry these reviews are extremely hard to write. The property was perfectly manicured. The food was absolutely scrumptious! The staff.... was very eager.... To the point we felt like we had to let them do it. We spoke to a few giests and we all agreed if we say we can take our bags or walk down to the gate please let us. Its whats comfortable for us. Other than that i give this management team a steller score!! Thank you again Leela!

Everything was amazing, the room, the staff. The food. We went for a spa treatment and it was phenomenal. We joined the club program and again, amazing. We hired a cat to see the temples and it was lovely

Amazing stay amazing property and service

I am an enormous fan of the Leela hotel group & have stayed at many of their properties throughout India. I going the Leela Chennai to be outdated and in need of a refurbishment. The rooms are very comfortable however & the breakfast offering was superb. It however lacked the charm and luxury of their other hotels

The property itself was beautiful with excellent decor. Love the nightly traditional live music, love that it’s near the water. Food quality was good. All staff were extremely friendly. But the service was shockingly terrible for 5 star hotel and we will never stay here again. Where do I start. - When checking in, no summary of amenities or overview of the property. Even 1 star hotel give you something like this. We had to ask bunch of questions to tease this out. - Lounge having tea - 4 of us order combo of teas and coffees, and one order is forgotten. This happened at least more than half the time. I was shocked. We would have to ask and waiter would be surprised we didn’t get it and go check on it. - it feels completely disorganized in food staff especially in order management. This was really bad. Almost an error in order we ever made. They need write things down and not go by memory. - There were LOT of staff and they were all super nice but feels bit chaotic. They frequently forget part of the order. Food took forever (not due to busyness). Chai would sometimes take 40 mins. - No events for kids. Just bummed we spent money and new years what we thought should would be amazing.
