The room was very clean and comfortable. The flaw in the room was just that the faucet in the bathroom was a bit broken. After all, the best thing about this hotel was first, the swimming pool was precisely near the lake. I could just sit near the swimming pool and enjoy the view of Lake Toba. It was wonderful. Second, if you want to go to Parapat, you can book a ticket for a boat that is scheduled to go there. The boat parked in front of the hotel's swimming pool. The staff at the receptionist was so informative about this, it was extremely helpful for me. (I would've gone to a farther port if he didn't talk about this). Thanks to him! However, the hotel was quite barren. The hotel was huge, but I could hardly see plants or trees anywhere, so it was pretty uncomfortable to walk or sit around the hotel at midday. Another thing that I disliked about this hotel was that they had a music group that sang songs extremely loudly at the restaurant from around 8 pm-11 pm. My room was near the restaurant, it was quite disturbing for people who wanted to rest after a tiring day, enjoy their dinner at the restaurant, or do online work.

Super comfy, however, they don’t have any telephone in the room. So, its quite difficult to reach the housekeeping if any issues. Again, the hospitality need to be improved. Overall, it was awesome to staycation here. Thanks for the memories. 5-7 Jan 2021

Always the best accommodation. Kind and helpful staffs. Also a lot of space for parking. Clean and comy area, so many places for photo and relax. Got a kind staff who give us our request with danau toba view. Thanks and will be back

It is an older hotel. Nice outdoor spaces (pools and gazebo next to the lake), but damp smells in the rooms. We booked deluxe and suite. None of the rooms face the lake. When we got to the room, I noticed no towels at all. So after we came back from adventuring, we asked for the towels. They said the towels should be there already. When we got to the room, the towels were on the table. But, our stuff was in the room. How can they just come in without us in it? We found stains on the bed sheets and they won't allow changes to other rooms, but they would change the beddings. After going through all the sheets, all have stains on them. So we settled with the ones with the least stain, cause it's already late. Hot water, after trial and error, turns out to be hot when turning to ‘cold’ and vice versa. (Maybe to save on hot water for those didn't bother to ask). Breakfast was nothing special. Fried rice, noodles, rice, fruits, stale bread and some deserts. The best was the egg stand, where you can order sunny side up, etc. Overall, it's OK. I would not be back, though.

The surrounding area and the whole vibe of the resort was great, they were in the middle of installing a lift when I went in mid July 2023. Room was very bare and simple, just the bare amenities and decorations. Otherwise, clean and windy.

We had a good experience in samosir cottages, food in restaurant is good and price is affordable, breakfast is less variety, bed is less comfort, cleanliness in room needed upgrade, swimming pool was the best part of this hotel with the magnificent lake toba view which covered all the negative sides. Love it.
