The positive: Hotel staff are friendly and willing to help. The location is good. We can view the mountains from our balcony. The not-so-positive, no lift and we can only go by stairs, which is very inconvenience when we bring big luggage. Fortunately, the hotel staff is more than willing to carry the luggage. The toilet I think smell not so good. The balcony door cannot be locked and the hotel staff is OK to assist locking the door every-time we want to go out.

Staff were friendly and happy to please. The room and facilities were quite good. The standout of The Cave Hotel is its location with views encompassing the caldera with Mt Batur and Lake Batur right in front of you and Mt Abang off to the side. These views were simply mesmerising.

Wow. Wow. Luar biasa view nya hotel ini. Pesen yg pake balkon. Kamarluas (book for 3, jd pake extra bed? Dan msh spacious ruanganya. Ga sempit2an. Kasur menghadap ke balkon dg pemandangan gn. Batur, danau batur, gn. Abang. Kabut lg. Gila sih luar biasa. Lalat ada tp ga banyak. Biasaitu di kintamani. No ac, who need ac in kintamani? Udh freezingbanget. Sygnya cuma 1, air panasnya nda ado. Sama akses ke hotelnya tangga ya aga serem hours hati2, dan tdk rekomen buat difabel. Sisanya amazing. Thankyou The Cave.

I don't know why the reviews in google are not quite good, but I had a pleasant experience here. The place is indeed quite hidden, but you can easily find the sign from the main street. We had to go downstairs to reach the lobby, yet the staff were very helpful to welcome us even from the parking area and helped us to carry our luggage. I booked for the lowest room type, the room was clean and quite spacious. Hot water works well, No AC but it ' s already cold anyway. From the balcony we can directly enjoy the view of Batur mountain and lake. It was very nice.
