I experienced some unfriendly staff. It is shocking to me since a long time I have experienced the people in Klaten is very nice and kind. Unexpected happened when I stay in this hotel (which is known as the most modern hotel in town).

This year's homecoming in Klaten we stayed at the Tjokro Hotel, we have stayed at this hotel several times during our homecoming, this year we felt that the condition of the hotel, especially in each room, needed a second renovation. During our breakfast, the food took a long time to be refilled, even though the food was generally quite tasty.

During the 3-day homecoming, my family and I stayed at the Tjokro Klaten Hotel, because we needed 3 rooms, I appreciated the reception staff who immediately offered 3 adjacent rooms, 2 of which even had connecting rooms, unfortunately almost all the rooms needed to be renovated because the floor of the room was almost loose, both televisions in the room could barely be used, but in terms of cleanliness, the room was quite good.

First of all, the hotel condition, especially in the room, needs renovation. Electronic facilities like the refrigerator are broken, and there weren't many options for channels on the television. In the last part of my review, for breakfast, I appreciate that the taste of the food is good, but it was too slow to refill the food.

The hotel staff are all friendly, the plus side is that there is a playground, the location is in the middle of the city, the rooms are quite comfortable... the only downside is that the hot water takes a long time to come out and is still not warm enough.
